Sophia, watching your vlogs of your family gives me all the feels. You are so blessed to have a sister like Robin and a father who always helps around the house whenever he visits. I hope your mom is okay. It was always nice to see her in your videos cooking so many dishes and making kimchi. Ever since I lost my mom to pancreatic cancer, watching this impacts me in a different way. I miss my mom’s cooking and her warm presence. I definitely noticed a vibe change when she was single vs. in a relationship.. I started watching her vids when she was single and now her vids seem more “lighter and happier” good to see she’s in a better place now but def noticed lots sponsored content - but I guess that’s the whole point of being an influencer.
Why does it bother you or in that case, why does it even matter. It’s not like she charges you to watch her videos…just don’t watch it, that’s it. If you were in her place, you would do the same thing… you don’t have to hate on her. She’s happy, healthy and doing her thing.
@@katherinetran812 You're wrong. If I were an influencer I would not do the videos the same way. I totally understand and support influencers doing sponsored shoutouts/inserts. However, Sophia's vlogs as of late feel like a last minute school report slapped together no deep substance or value for the viewers/fans. Just enough words to fill in the requirements, if that makes sense. Yes, these are free to watch..however people's time is valuable, too. So if she still wants to honor our time, then I just wish it was worth watching a 15-20 min vlog for. How I would do it differently would be to add value - ie. show a quick makeup tutorial/new fav item, share a new restaurant I found in the area, show a fun DIY hack, discuss a new book I've read, show what's in my bag..etc. Not that hard.
