I was lucky enough to see the fathers fight, it was watched by the whole nation. And indeed they went too war on each other, I’ve not seen anything like it since. Now it’s the sons turn, guys I wish you the very best and may the best man win.

While there was a genuine rivalry between the fathers there is certainly not one between the sons. This fight is a contrived rivalry. With as many as 3 divisions separating the 2 fighters a fight was always going to be of a bit of a stunt. Money talks in boxing. The size difference and Eubank's undoubted boxing skills make this a very difficult task for Conor. I just cannot see how he wins but I will be watching.
The rivalry is purely down to the family name, they have both said as much, so I wouldn't call it contrived..
Yeah does seem like a difficult task for Conor (I'm edging towards Eubank) but Conor was the one who asked for the fight.. That means something.. Not sure what tho!
They say to bet on the under dog. Benn seems hungry af. Eubank ego and confidence may actually be his downfall. It's a fight. One shot can cause the upset so I really don't understand why people say "I just cannot see how he can:

My key take away from this is that Benn's biggest victories are against fighters who have already been beaten up. Does Eubank fit that description 🤔. Naaaahhhh, Eubank is still a live wire!
When you have constantly trained with world class fighters/world champions for 6-7 years........and your main sparring partners are Felix cash and john ryder.......you're gonna be prepared for anything Eubank Jr brings to the table.

@@MrJayDtv You think Conor is just gonna come forward recklessly? He has a better overall skill-set than Eubank Jr. John Ryder has beaten Danny Jacobs.......Eubank Jr hasn't beaten a fighter of that caliber....in fact he's ducked fighters like Jacobs.
You're right tho......Ryder and Cash aren't Eubank Jr.....but they're just as big....just as strong......but better technically.

Does anyone know if Roy Jones going to be at Eubanks’s corner? Connor moves like Tyson and Eubanks moving like Roy Jones. Looking at Eubanks 2 losses. In both, had the fight gone on another round longer, he should have won as Billy Joe and George Grove were in trouble. Eubanks Jr should start early and dictate the pace, being the bigger guy and should take control early on. Then Connor would be frustrated and the only way to win by KO. But I don’t think Connor possess the power to knock him out. No doubt there’s going to be rematch in the distant future.
There is no rivalry and they know it!… it’s just an easy money maker from the fools that buy into it! The fathers are friends and even on uk tour together doing meet and greets and chats about their fights together!
The bigger fighter usually wins. Eubanks should win. Benn's power should not affect him. I don't know if Benn can go 12 rounds. Eubanks will take him 12 rounds and Benn gasses by the 7th from loading up shots. Also, Eubanks has more distance and reach.

Eubank jnr has been in with huge guys by comparison to Benn, and junior has never been knocked out.
I don't even think he's been put on the canvas full stop.
How, exactly, is a bloated welterweight, one with no real pedigree, who nobody really knows the genuine quality of, going to do what George Groves, or DeGale, or BJS, couldn't do... being to knock Eubank jnr out.
Benn is not skilled enough, or disciplined enough, to box to a points win.
There is no way I can see it, that Benn can win.

Yes, the cut is an issue.
But, it's not like he has to stay at 157/158 - he just has to make the weigh in...which he will, as it's not that much to worry about.
The question is, how much or little is he allowed to "rehydrate"?
I don't think people are aware of just how much bigger Eubank jnr is.
Benn is an untested welterweight facing a guy who has never been put on the canvas much less beaten by knock out who has fought at super middleweight against seasoned operators and held his own.
Benn simply doesn't hit hard enough and is too small in every respect.
He has huge heart, self belief, and is not intimidated...but, it's not enough.

I suspect it'll have to be at around the 165lbs limit...and that's generous, otherwise Benn will be outweighed by an absurd amount.
