Everybody saying oh she wanted to give the other girls a chance and oh it's not a big deal. Coach Dee and her mom knows she wants her own team and she wants to choreograph for other people. She needs to know and do all styles or she is limiting the jobs she can get. Y'all must not have watched the whole show.

Righttt... this was Camryn's opportunityyy. She was placed front and center. In the many years Kayla has been with the Dolls, wonder if Coach D advised her to take other genres? Wonder if Crissy was told to say that.
Yes MRS. Diana did FORCE Kayla to take other classes in the dollhouse. Even the class Mr Tory coached she took(they showed on other episodes). When she spent the weekend at grambling university they showed her taking a dance class ( AND IT WASN'T HIP HOP). She's on a dance team in college so she had to learn other genres
I just love kayla and her attitude so much 🙏🏽❤ can't wait to see her coaching her own team 💯

Kayla really limited herself by doing this though because it really hindered her dance versatility
Miss D told both Kayla and Tina this multiple times but like it wasn't getting through to either of them. Kayla really is limiting herself by not being diverse. Kayla says over and over that she wants to be a professional dancer/choreographer but she is sticking solely to hip-hop and majorette and when she gets out there in the real world of dance she is gonna get a rude awakening. When she goes to the dance auditions and the music video auditions, she will quickly realize that the real world of dance is not hip-hop and majorette. The real world of dance is jazz, lyrical, contemporary and Kayla has zero of those dance styles mastered so she will easily get cut from everything she tries out for.
Mrs. Diana you are a great women to lead these girls.
It’s hard to dislike Dianna lol simply because she’s looking out for the team. She really cares. I agree with her, if you are the captain, you need to be doing everything you can. You lead by example. I didn’t watch the show but the way Dianna push the girls, I see why they were winning a lot. I really believe Kayla can be the greatest dancer if she pushes herself a lot more. I saw the clip of her working out with Dianna. She doesn’t have to be the fastest at running but if keeps pushing herself with that running, she will see so many results and changes really quick.
Mimi is a snake frfr. She wasn't really concerned about kayla for not dancing. After that comment she made, clearly she wanted to use that as an opportunity for Camryn to show kayla up for that captain spot.
Kayla was leaving soon anyway.

Coach D was spot on with her talk with Kayla....Kayla is a super dancer and she she needs to get out of her comfort zone and focus on achieving to work on what she doesn’t do well or it not her thing but hey...there is a saying that says “ Practice make perfect “.
I’ve noticed, and remember, that a lot of Seniors are like this. I think they are overwhelmed with their final year in high school, it sure of their life ahead, and a tad stressed. I was like that some decades ago (lol), and my oldest was like that (is now finishing her freshman year in college). Now my 16 going on 17 year old is starting up. For those graduating soon, yes, it’s overwhelming, but you can not stop pushing forward, not now. You’ve come way too far.
No matter what you never sit down as a dancer, even if your captain or not. Because it shows your weaknesses. And you are not practicing your craft, if it’s your “thing” or not.
It’s moments like these where I fell in love with this show
I see coach D's point. But i also think Kayla had a point too. At the very least, Kayla could have tried out just to push herself a little bit, but she could have said she didn't want to be considered for the actual part. That's the middle ground Kayla and Coach D was looking for.

I see why Diana and Tine were so concerned with Kayla and her health in season 2. You can see here that she is skinnier/smaller though bodies change as you get older. Kayla is beautiful no matter what size and even though she was scared to try new styles of dance, she grew to be an amazing dancer.

Nadine I made this 3 weeks ago of course if you keep up with the show you and I both know she doesnt dance any more. But coming from a dancer if you having probelms as the excuse you gave or just bluntly sitting out bec its not hop which is natural to most kids to be the captain or to call yourself a dancer and not try to outsource yourself to different types of dance to be versatile then you will always be stuck or only going thru doors that are open for you instead kicking them down when they thought you couldnt do more than just hip hop buck or twerk. Its like labeling yourself ........

She Had to quit due to being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. She spent alot of time in The hospital and had to give up dance all together. They were all sad when she left though went on Her page to find out like a year ago.

@@zatayzia4756 sadly she's not. And I say sadly because she couldn't finish her time at the dollhouse because of her illness. She has DIABETES. And if anyone knows diabetes ain't no joke. She started having more bad days with it then good and sadly had to stop dancing. Ask me how I know this ??? Lol. My behind was at work one night and watching bring it on my phone(heeeey my client was asleep)and I was watching an episode with that girl on it and I actually googled WHAT HAPPENED TO THE WHITE GIRL ON BRING IT and GOOGLE REDIRECTED TO CZcams and I found a video of her story.

They all began together but season 1-2 was sunjay's storyline. If u watch season 1-2 u can see the twins in the dollhouse and at competitions. They didn't get recognized until Sunjay graduated and then their storyline began. That kept Selena on the show for more seasons and more craziness.
Yes she had her son when she was 14 ,they showed him in the episode out in the yard taking pictures at JJ'S house when KAYLA and SUNJAY graduated

OMG I THOUGHT ONLY I FELT THAT WAY. I think lifetime didn't like the moms REALNESS( the bad grammar the cursing and some of the attire they wore). I don't think the early moms enjoyed either the way they looked and sound( hence the new weaves and clothing and grammar was CLEANED UP.) I downloaded the lifetime app just to watch bring it over and over and I find myself REPEATEDLY WATCHING SEASON 1-3 OVER AND OVER

Sunjai was on the team way before the twins and she's their older sister
They all joined at the same time but Lifetime didn't acknowledge the twins until later after Sunjay graduated. If u go bk to the VERY 1st episode u can see the twins walking into the dollhouse and Selena was standing already on the porch. If u watch season 1 and 2 u can see the twins practicing and performing at competitions but got no recognition because it was sunjay's storyline. Don't laugh at me but I'm a huge fan . I DOWNLOADED THE LIFETIME APP TO MY PHONE JUST TO WATCH BRING IT OVER AND OVER AND OVER LOL
