When I left & the shunning started, I decided right then, that I wasn’t about to let watchtower win! They may have taken my family, education & and lot of time from me, but NOTHING else.. not one more thing, not one more minute. I decided to USE what watchtower gave me & find the silver lining! I have my faith, and I had the ability to make a great life. So I made sure I didn’t fall off the deep end like they said I would. I was 40 when I left so there was plenty of time to be successful. I’ve had no contact with my family, but I choose to lead by example. When the JW’s see us Ex’s thriving, ( believe me, they keep an eye on us ) when they see we’ve made great lives, it will speak volumes!! It will make them start thinking, more then any words we could say to them! If we live a great life, watchtower loses 👏🏼👍🏼
