Knock back is a separate stat you can get on your gear. Poise prevents you from being staggered. When you get hit hard or hit an enemy hard there's a second or two where you are stunned and can't do anything. Poise reduces this. Your reflexes to damage are improved.

@@manfredhoudek2385 I’ve put over 7 gold in just buying gear and enchanting it and I’ve never gotten any knock back resistance. I was thinking it’s a separate stat but I could not find it on any of pieces not on the gloves, pants, helmet, armour or shield. The gems don’t give it either so how do you get knock back resistance then? Any idea?
@@user-kv9mg1rc1jthe katana with damage reflect build was my first attempt but unfortunately the damage reflected is nerf to a point it does almost no damage now. I have seen someone did a build with it and was killing the last boss in seconds, it is patched so hard now.
How much health and armor do you really need for this build to be viable? For example, if you only need 100 health and 1000 armor or 250 health and 500 armor as long as you attack enough to sustain health with the life steal this would open up more build options while remaining 'immortal'.

I play more or less the same build but with fallstead's shiled and two thorn rings. It's pretty fun, but instead of hitting them you just block everyone and they die, it's quite funny 😅
I did full plate and 3 heal minus focus rings build with tower shield. I can't use runes, but I'm invincible.
I play dual knives build with purple enchants on all my gear, you get better rolls. The negative stat I look for are durability halved before max level or xp loss when you reach max level. On one of your 3 weapons, main attack, one for ranged the last for buffing, torches great for the latter. Put in repair rune into utility weapon or torch and keep some high +durability potions on you. With that you can roll high when damage taken you heal and high life on hit percentage, not on kill. Parry is useless, if I am fast enough to parry I can hit instead and heal and prevent the hit from happening.
I could be wrong but the torch doesn't work unless actively using it. I use with my hunters axe. So I don't think dual knives work with torches. Works with single knife and any other one handed including spears.
You can get the Falstead's Fury from killing Falstead in the sewer just as the shield.

Ah so NOW i see why they nerfed heal on hit into the ground. Lol
Damage % boosts stack, but elemental ones don't. So your shield with blood stone is still only giving 3% on block. I've seen items roll with "reduced knock back by x%" roll on armor
Yah they nerf a lot of things especially the focus gain and potions… but check my spearman tank ranger build, you will see I still found a build where you get infinite focus and health gain. And I am editing now a lighting rogue build that has even more lifesteal, if you are interested in that keep an eye out for when I post it.
Thanks for the build insight @LarryPuss. This build was nerfed with Early Access Patch 1 (Nerfed Health Gain for Health On Damage Dealt enchantment). Highest value for Gain n% Health on Damage Dealt now appears to be 1. The build still performs very well for all but the Echo Knight Boss.
yes it was massively nerf, but it still lifesteals a lot even with the nerf, I tested it yesterday. Probably because the Rusty Khopesh weapon has the highest attack speed animation from all the weapons
I wish we hade about 5 more chapters and 30 more zones to play in , oh and a way to scale unarmed combat
Well the game it’s still in early access, maybe we will have mote zones to play in the future. And for the unarmed, a lot of people have asked for this feature so I think they might look into it.
I hope they add fists weapon, like knuckles would go great here

The stat you're looking for to prevent knock backs is called Knockback resistance %
I have enchanted a lot of armor pieces and never have I goten knockback resistance, on any of the helmet, armor, pants, gloves or shield. So how do you get it? Gems also don't give it...
@@LarryPuss I've gotten it on pants and helm for sure, non cursed item (blue).
@@xWarlanx thx, I tested it yesterday and I managed to get knockback resistance on 3, the pants armor and gloves but I am not seeing much of any resistance, I think it's broken for now just like the attack speed stat.

That weapon you craft. You learn the recipe from the blacksmith and near him there is an anvil where you can craft weapons.
But for the anvil you need to upgrade the blacksmith.

well what do we have here a tanky kinda build is what i like and i saw this i may or may not make a second character and make another tanky build xd. currently i run a lifesteal kinda 2handed greatsword gnarled saw build its strong and i can do anything with it but i have not played with a shield tanky build yet so i maby :P gona make this version becaus i can to see wich of the 2 builds for me is gona be bether overall.
just completed this build even afther the nerf from healing it is stll a no sleeper kinda build it kinda rivals my 2handed snarl greatsword lifesteal build xd. now just gona play with both to see wich one i like bether.
@@RisingReap Even though Rusty Khopesh is a strength weapon, so far I think it has the fastest attack speed animation for any weapon in the game. If you manage to get focus on damage dealt on it with the health gain you will get an even more overpower build.

It can work with any weapon. But most legendary weapons I’ve seen don’t have lifestealing, so if you chose a legendary go with the armour rings instead of health on damage dealt. Or keep farming the rings and try to get the ring that gives at least 3% health if damage dealt.
I use a similar build to this but with the Fetid Club yeah. You want to wear the heaviest possible gear. Its strong, i have echo knight on farm with the build.
10:30 You might want to try setting Steam to offline mode if you have a lot of issues with frames dropping. I think it's doing some kind of background process when you are online that it doesn't do when set offline. I have to live on a laptop, so most of the time I'm playing in offline mode. I never saw stuttering or big lag until I played with Steam online and was like whuuuuuttt are all these slowdowns?
23:00 Not sure if it's accurate, but I heard earlier (I think from another streamer) 1100 is the armor cap, so more may be pointless.
I checked in with the discord today and it looks like they are planning to tweak the stats, so we may see very different stats, or things that are based on stats, in the future. (Also I'm guessing post launch Crucible will actually be max level, not max tier, like we currently see it. So people likely won't be up to 9 levels over it an stomping through it like we can now.)
For the armour I did tested and it does give more defensive. When I’m 1100 small enemies do around 10 damage but when I’m over 1200 they never manage to do more then 8 damage per hit. But in my case, for this build, I went more for the health on damage dealt ring.
After 3weeks i wonder if this build still is good?! :)
It’s working exactly the same. The last patches nerfs where to the focus and this build is a pure tank with lifesteal.

Not sure either as currently weith this Patch 1 a lot of stats like knockback resistance and stager resitance are broken, they don't work. I also don't understand why we have staggeer resitance when we already have poise...

I can neither find or craft rusty khopesh or broken fang. And everything is maxed in my City. I dont get it, why both are no where to find 😐
I now got the recipe to craft broken fang. But need 4 silver bar for it... still cant find the khopesh 😑

Oh and i still wasnt able to kill the boss... neither with my tank and not with my mage. Tank does no dmg, bu4 i have a broken fang with overall 106 dmg...
Make a throw rune weapon on your tank build. It’s very easy to beat the boss using that. Any throw rune will do, but the ice is the most potent. Hope it helps.
@@LarryPuss than i must find a new weapon with a slot... I had a Ice throw Rune extractet, but that is suddenly gone 😐
I got a legendary with the need for the will stat. It boosts dmg with increasing weight. Would like to use that. Too bad we still cant reset Talents.
Will try a throw Rune later... Atm He rolls over me. I have 1100 armer and 265hp. Cant get on ground, i am too slow with it. Maybe use the skill points of the next 3 lvls to get weight reduce. Its on 23 now

@@xWarlanx I haven't seen a single throw rune. I might of missed it in the first 15-20 hrs, but I was keeping a eye out for the next 90-100 hrs.
@@anarchy-wz4qx climbers pick has fire throw, sirens horn has the plague throw, risen blade has the ice throw and I forget what has lightning throw (never got it). Ice throw is great for freezing enemies, lightning probably has great stagger. Fire burns over time and I think plague does too (I have it but have not tested). Climbers pick and risen blade are common drops.

Is anyone here that becomes the 3% Healt in enchant or Gem? czcams.com/video/CS1Is7RAroA/video.html ??? On Gem it says only 1%-2% chance and by enchanting i only get 1%, never more....
They nerf it from 1% to maximum 3%, but to even get the 3% you need to upgrade it to tier 3.
@@LarryPuss I got the shield upgraded as much as possible. The GEM said 1%-2% and i got only max2%
and if i enchant the shield i only got 1% even like the main weapon, 1% heealth on dmg is the max i get....
Why do people seek to ruin their game experience by breaking the game to create conditions where it's near impossible to die? There is literally no point to playing the game if you can afk smash W and just tear through everything with impunity. It's sad that people flock to these concepts
Why not?… not everyone thinks the way you do. If you think this is broken wait until I post the improved build where you just sit and do nothing while everything dies around you.
@@LarryPuss it's up to the developers to Ensure their game is free if exploits so I only blame them for not properly testing their game or, even worse, designing it to be intended gameplay. But I do think in general people are starting to gravitate more and more back towards the participation trophy style of completionism where everything needs to be so easy everyone can do it.
I personally feel this game was designed to be difficult. If you want to use exploits, that's your prerogative. I'm just encouraging people to challenge themselves and not use it
the combinations are there to try to make the strongest build you can, no one makes a build and says I don't want to make this build to strong. If I want a harder experience I just do a no armor run.
@godofm3tal1 you know creating a build that's so strong is not an exploit its called intended game design that let's you create the perfect armor/ build you want to play like a glass Canon
