a mia Mamma, Norina, purtroppo deceduta lo scorso anno, che mi ha sempre apprezzato (e sopportato). Un giorno, spero, ci ritroveremo.

Thank you, Alain! Surely the Rickenbacker (mine is a 1979) is my absolute favorite of all my basses for its sound and also aesthetically (the second most beautiful, for me, is the BC Rich Mockingbird).

Bravo ti sei preso alcune libertà per quanto riguarda le idee ritmiche senza uscire dal contesto. Sono bassista anche io e questo è un pezzo che ho nel repertorio e nel cuore. Prog è anche e soprattutto questo.

La suonavo così anche quando, alcuni anni or sono, sono stato in un gruppo di cover. Fortunatamente non era richiesta aderenza perfetta alle versioni originali... Temo non sia il mio forte! 😆 Però, come hai giustamente detto, il bello di questo genere (e non solo) è proprio che ci si può concedere qualche libertà qui & là, ovviamente con criterio. Anche con i Neurosaurock (trio strumentale tastiere/basso/batteria nel quale ho suonato per molto tempo, ora ci siamo sciolti ma il sito ancora esiste) riarrangiavamo a modo nostro pezzi altrui.

This is (and the other song too) from an italian Prog Rock band called Le Orme. Both songs have been published in the 70s, when in Italy there were many good bands like this. I prefer the bands that use the english language (more good sounding for Rock), but Le Orme is one of my favorite bands from Italy, with Goblin (probably you know them for Dario Argento's movies soundtracks) and Vanadium that in the 80s was the most known italian Hard Rock band. Maybe I will make a cover for each one of these bands in the future. 😄

@@sergiodambrosio363 I will be waiting for these covers to be performed by you. English is the best language for singing. In Poland in the 70s, 80s and 90s there were also great rock bands. For example, the iconic Dżem and Perfect. I played these covers on my channel. They sound nice in Polish. I like to listen to the DŻEM.

@@KAUSIcovers Yes, I have read on music magazines that Poland has always had a lot of Rock bands since the 70s. Later a lot of HM bands too. Behemoth and Vader are well known, but I have to admit that I am not that much into Death Metal, they are a bit too extreme for me! The ork's voices mostly!😆But absolutely valid bands!
A curious thing: if I remember correctly, one of the first live album published by an italian Heavy Metal band is Alive In Poland, by the Thrash Metal band Bulldozer. They recorded it during a tour in your Country in 1989. An ork as a singer, them too! 😆
