    Wonderful to hear them both. Fabulous. I heard Dame Jane Glover last week in UK and will order her book on Handel.

      @@MusicoftheBaroqueChicago Couldn't agree more. Sitting next to them in a warm pub, what better company. Jane's books on Handel & 'Mozart's Women' & Sir John's 'Castle in Heaven' are great additions to the biographical library. I waded through Spitta & Wolff some time ago. And their conducting has raised music performance to a different level. I can still remember the delight of hearing Sir John's 1st Bminor mass with Nancy Argenta. Bliss.
