- Big Cat Rescue saved 3 starving tigers from a New York "sanctuary" after they lost their USDA license and the animals were confiscated by the Sheriff's Department... There are an estimated 10,000 - 20,000 privately owned big cats in the USA, cubs bred to be used as photo props and then sold as "pets" confined to tiny backyard cages, killed for their body parts and exotic meat trade or bounced around between different facilities.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT! :)
When Keisha got out in the BCR Sanctuary, she had that "am I in paradise...?" look in her face.
I saw that, too! You could see the rescued Keisha's happiness and that made me happy, too.
I sincerely hope that the US federal government gets off its backside and issues proper legislation against this odious level of abuse against these wonderful animals. Quite frankly, whoever imprisons and abuses exotic animals for such an inane purpose as profit should be shot. Keep up the amazing work, Big Cat Rescue!
The first tiger we saw going into the transit cage...it's like he knew. You could practically see him shrug and say "anything is better than this shit"
To own large animals: 1 page and $40.00
To extend your porch: 3 or more building permits at least
I don't understand government sometimes.
I hope you're joking, you want the government even more in your life, dictating pets? I hope you're saying that both of those points you made are ridiculous.
freethinker4liberty Both are ridiculous but there shouldn’t be just 1 page and a $40 fee to own exotic animals? They’re saying how it’s ridiculous that you can own a exotic animal so easily yet you have to go through 3x the work to extend your porch.
@@freethinker4liberty owning wild animals is not a right and these animals need protection. This issue has nothing to do with infringement of anybody's rights. Try to put things in proper perspective

that sucks
Poor babies
ugh... how horrid
I love tigers so much and its shameful to treat them like that. I am so glad they were rescued and are now being taken care of. Thank you Big Cat Rescue for caring as you do for these precious animals.
IMHO..these latest 3 Tigers are not the exception to the rule anymore! This has become so common now that these (stories/reports) don't even surprise nor have much shock value. That says A whole Lot about just how Desensitized our Society has become. how SAD!
1 page and $40? You get more paperwork for trying to adopt a house cat but wild big cats? Nah sure 1 page will do.
Glad you guys came along and helped.
Oh, they're so thin. Their new home looks amazing. They look like they can't believe it's theirs. Thank you so much for caring. The US's record on wild animal welfare is truly disgusting. Petting zoos with sick, dying & drugged cubs are still common.
Thank you for watching!
You guys are just so amazing. If only I could volunteer there! Too bad I'm in Michigan. I live in a very dense hilly forest and have about 500 acres of state land that comes up to my property. There is a wild cougar that lives out there. We hear it every few weeks and have seen it about 6 times in 5 years. I've even gotten pictures of its tracks. I can't tell you how amazing it is to see a cougar living where it should be. It passes through the side of my property once in a while - I believe it's going to a favorite hunting spot. It's truly amazing.
tiger cubs are cute, but they should banned from business uses.
YOU can help make that happen by going to www.BigCatBan.com
Big cats , bears and any exotic animals should not be kept in any circumstances , except BY ZOOS where there are specialist staff to care for them and enclosures should be appropriate , NOT CONCRETE CELLS .
They looked so happy in their new homes. They're like "grass! space! water! this is amazing!"
wild animals can't switch from fright to happiness in a moment - it can take a few weeks till they really will be happy once they'll realize their ownership and safety of that territory
I love the look on Keisha's face when she sees her new BRC enclosure- "Oh my gosh, I've got grass and leaves and water!"
You guys do such great work. I had the pleasure of visiting once already and I hope to pay another visit again soon. Thank you for all you do for these beautiful creatures.
Thanks again, BCR for saving some more precious animals! You are my favorite animal rescue :)
Thank you. What we do is made possible by all of you out there who love these cats and support this work. So, THANK YOU, all of you.
You are true heroes!
The heroes are those of you who support this work.
I've been watching your videos for a few months now, but these are the first cats I've been able to witness in real time rather than watching 'this cat's story' video years after they were rescued.
I thank God that there are people like your founder, volunteers, interns and staff. Each one of you is worth a thousand of the haters, naysayers and abusers.
Poor babys...... 😭😭😭😭😭😭
So glad you saved them..
a HUGE thanks to big cat rescue...
😊😭😥😥
Thank god there are people like you guys to help the poor animals
Great heavens, all 3 of them were so skinny! I'm very glad you have room for them, they looked amazed at the grass and water and cleanliness!
Such powerful, amazing animals treated like this,.....i am so hoping to see updates on these rescue animals, to see how they get fat and happy
Thanks, New York, for helping these animals. Poor Keisha looked especially in need of proper care. Thanks for thinking about the animals!
would love to see a video on how they are adapting to their new home-its wonderful to see them look around and explore.
Signed and shared, thank you for all you do.
Bless you...coming from New Zealand where the keeping of exotic animals is as absurd as the sky being green with pink polka dots, this amazes me. I'm floored you can get a license to legally keep them, literally in your backyard it seems. You only see big cats here in zoo's that are part of breeding programmes....you do fantastic work :)
What you people do is amazing! You save poor animals in need of help, and you give them a voice. That must be a lot of work, but the results are incredible. Thank you.
You guys are the best! So happy to see these tigers rescued x
Poor babies..tg you guys got them! Welcome to the good life,Kesha,Kimba, and Zeus!
Poor babies... They must have had a rough life. I wish them all many, MANY happy years at BCR.
Thank you for rescuing these babies! They're magnificent...
Thank you for taking in these beautiful animals. I live in Jamestown, about 13 miles from Sinclairville. I had no idea of the danger JNK Call of the Wild posed to area residents due to dilapidated cages until I read about this story today..
SO HAPPY TIGERS ARE SAFE. I APPRECIATE BCR. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK ROOOOAAAARRRR
yes, happy and great news thanks Ruth
Ever since I found your channel, I have been absolutely in love with your videos. Big cats are slowly becoming my passion, and I dream to be able to work with them in the future as a veterinary technician. I love watching the big cats when they've been rescued, because you can always tell how happy they are, even if they're anxious about it being a new place. It's so strange seeing big cats panting like that! But it's amazing seeing each of their personalities and how they interact and react to the big cats around them. Keep up the amazing work! Hopefully I'll be able to come see BCR some day!
We look forward to your visit. You should also check into our Internship program. Go to www.BigCatRescue.org and click on the "Get Involved" menu item then scroll down the page looking for the text link about becoming and intern.
Dear Big Cat Rescue,
I don't think I have to tell you how much I appreciate and admire the work you are doing and if any animal recue shelter has ever convinced me to donate it's yours.
I always am hesitant to donate because of the uncertainty I have about the shelter I want to donate to being legit and the owners knowing what they are doing. You have shown time and time again that you genuinely want to improve the situation for all cats who live in custody and I have to applaud you on your approach to make CZcams Videos. It makes your institution transparent and thoroughly convinced me and many others to help.
My questions are:
-I would like to send e-mails and phone the reps. as well but I'm not sure if my calls and letters would have any singificance seeing that I live in Germany. Would it help at all if I do it nonetheless? (Don't worry I'm constantly bugging my own reps but there are thankfully a lot more laws in place here but you can still keep some exotic animals like poisonous snakes without permission)
-Is there any way for me to donate other than credit card or Paypal (I don't have an account) from here? (direct withdrawal would be perfect)
-Is there an avaaz.org petition for changing laws for keeping exotic cats already?
If not wouldn't that be a great way to get some more pressure on politicians as well as to generate a more attention to the topic?
Thanks for your amazing work and I'm deeply sorry that Kimba didn't make it.
Greetings from Germany
great work as usual, glad for those Tigers
You guys are amazing it's just so cool how you feel how I feel. Animals should be treated the same as us. Especially the ones that people hold hostage and abuse. Thankyou.
Thank you for watching!!
Actually, thank you for making the video. ;)
FYI I subscribed!
I don't think this is a real issue in Germany, but I love watching your videos and I think your work is incredible, invaluable and heart-warming
Glad to see they're out of those deplorable conditions and they're able to live the rest of their lives at your wonderful facility :)
Here's hoping Kimba recovers well and gets to live a long, healthy, happy life like Flavio.
Thank you guys for everything you do and stand for!
TANK YOU so much for helping these animals I'm crying watching how some live but thanks to you these animals are looking at a better life
Your organization is amazing. This is so tragic, yet you so gracefully reach down into the mess and pull beautiful lives out of it. When I was a child, I (foolishly) always wished I could have exotic pets because of their uniqueness and beauty. Your videos remind me everyday why it's an awful idea, and give me reason to continue the fight to ban private ownership of these magnificent animals. Thank you for all that you do!!
I have actually been to this former "sanctuary". My parents purchased a Doberman puppy from them when I was 13 and the owners took us around and showed us the big cats. They also had bears, if I'm remembering correctly. I remember being sad for them because it was winter and they just looked so cold. I was glad to read in our local paper about them relocating the animals to places where they would be happier and treated fairly. I was especially glad when I saw that you were going to be one of those sanctuaries.
idk why, but this short video makes my heart sank for these three tigers
Thank you for all you do! Great work, these lovely animals deserve wonderful people like you!
Your efforts are truly amazing...thank you for all you do for these poor animals! Xxx
I hope these tigers live the rest of their life at BCR. They're all so beautiful and I hope they live a happy life there just like your other big cats do. :)
So sad! Thank you for all you guys do!! So beautiful to see them released in their new healthy homes!
It always makes me happy to see new videos from you. You all do such wonderful work.
I am so glad you take these precious creatures and keep them safe.I wish I could come to Tampa,Florida
Ive followed this since the people went in and rescued these cats. Its a sad day that Kimba had to go to sleep. At least she was able to be at a good place for a little while. And now she's not suffering. Its just so sad.
It's just heartbreaking to know there are so many of these glorious creatures suffering out there every single day. I followed the link but being outside the US I don't think I can take the necessary action.
Kitties were probably THRILLED with their new habitat. Thank you !!
Thank you so much for all your good work
You guys did awesome as usual. Signed the petition...hopefully the lawmakers will pay attention. Looking forward to the update videos on how these three are coming along.
THANK YOU for do that.
Thank you for what you do for BigCats! :)
This is just sad. More people need to speak up. Thank you for all you do.
Keisha running smack into the wall of her enclosure in her desperation to escape the little cage manages to be tragic and funny at the same time, poor girl. At least the lion thoroughly enjoyed the end of the rescue.
Great work. I hope the new tigers are doing well.
Wow, Kimba is pretty old for a big cat. I'm glad he will get to live out his golden years in a big safe facility like yours where he will be fed regularly and be checked by vets.
You guys are amazing. Videos like this give me hope in humanity.
You should check out our videos on our other channel as well. That channel is called "Daily Big Cat" or DailyBigCat"
I hope they can all recover fully and be able to live the rest of their lives in luxery.
Just wanted to say I love what you guys do. And I followed the link that you left to help big cats. I live in GA and whenever I make it to Tampa I will pay yall a visit. :)
they look so happy ! would love to do this work
I went there yesterday, and saw Zeus!!!!!
THANK YOU for supporting the cats with a tour.
Love what you guys do xo 💘
God bless you guys

2:28 to 2:31 Kiesha is like "OMG WHAT IS THIS WONDERFUL PLACE ?"
Those poor animals. :( I hope they get healthy again.
We will do everything we can for them.
how beautiful... how thin & grubby. :-(
thank goodness they're with BCR.
More tigers to come to the Big Cat Rescue family! I am looking forward to more videos of them!
Wow Kimba is only 1 month older than I am! Bless the old girl's heart
Aww this is wonderful!!!! Supporting completely!
THANK YOU
Always! I plan on going to Florida next year & will totally come see you guys 💜
Hello Big Cat Rescue, it would be nice if we could see more footage. I would love to see much longer videos from you :)
I can't imagine what these three Tigers will feel when their rotations come up for their first "vacations"!
Can you imagine. It will be heavenly to watch.
I'm balling just hearing about there conditions. :'( humans; the only animals in the animal kingdom that exploit other species.
You're my hero big cat rescue.! Well done :D
Thank god they are safe now
R.I.P Kimba
Why people do this? I can't understand it, this animals are so beauty and they can't see it.
Why do people do this to the animals!!!!!! they should have the same done to them! :( makes me so sad to see... but also makes me so happy to see you guys are helping the tigers.. please keep up the work.. you make the world a better place.. :)
I lived up the road about a half mile from this place and the animals there were loved and well cared for. JNK(Jackie 'N Ken) was owned by a husband and wife that deeply cared for the animals but after Ken died, things took a downward turn. Losing her husband and co-owner of the sanctuary was just too much for her to handle and within a year of his death, the place was shut down.
JNK’s Call of the Wild Sanctuary was the only recognized “true” sanctuary in the state, as defined by New York state and USDA regulations. A Walt Disney manager even owned a tiger that was housed at JNK. At one point, the USDA used recommendations from JNK’s feeding programs to educate other sanctuaries and exotic animal owners on proper animal nutrition.
Losing a loved one can take a toll on many aspects of one's life and there is more than meets the eye to this video.
It says "after many years of complaints & warnings this sanctuary was closed down". Are you saying they are lying? She threw her own pet cats body in there (so much for loving cats) And if she wasn't coping or couldn't afford to keep the sanctuary going, from what you've said, she had a multitude of wildcat contacts she could easily have used to rehome them before it got to that point. Barring a Romanian Zoo that got closed for starving approx 80% of its animals to death, those are the thinnest captive tigers I've ever seen (& I've seen plenty of neglected ones sadly, on You Tube) . That's months & months of neglect. I've been bereaved, I didn't stop feeding all my pets. And any beloved pet that dies gets a decent burial, it's not used as wild animal feed. That's cold. Really cold.
That look you get at 03:02 can give you days of nightmares.
The audio cuts out just after the 2-minute mark (I assume due to licensing issues with the music, not a big deal). Please consider adding captions to the video so new viewers will get the needed information.
I sent the e-mail to my reps......I am in agreement that keeping exotics as pets, especially big cats, is a bad idea. Especially after what happened in Iowa. Most of these tigers are hybridize with other tiger species, or inbred. If you want to save big cats, support wild life conservation, help preserve their wild environment, and have nothing to do with the black market! The best tiger, is a free tiger.....but these cats are getting the next best thing.,
THANK YOU for emailing your rep. Contacting, and continuing to contact lawmakers by phone, email, and letters is he only way this are going to change. So again, THANK YOU.
Oh, BCR how you make this world a more wonderful place...to know you are protecting these gorgeous cats, rescuing them from stupid and cruel people, I vow to pass on these vlogs...to always keep up on my education, and give when I can...words are not enough to say thank you....I am grateful.. *BCR FTW*
What we do is made possible by all of you who support this work.
Such a shame, but BCR gave them a new furrever home!! Zeus was my favorite big cat. He is missed!🐯
Nice one, good luck to you and the animals.
AMEN!!!!!!
Poor tigers :( I wish you guys luck with them 3
I love the kittens!!!
Went there not far from where I lived. It wasn't safe then and deplorable conditions made complaint nothing was done
2:29
The way her hip looks, how it's all curved inwards, is that a sign of starvation? It looks so painfully thin in that frame. If there was ever a family-friendly campaign to be started to stop backyard breeding ... that frame needs to be part of it.
But I don't know anything about what tigers look like healthy vs not healthy, but it caught my eye right away.
Stay tuned to see the difference in them in a few weeks and a few months. YOU can help prevent things like this by going to www.CatLaws.com and letting lawmakers know what you think on this subject.
Big Cat Rescue I look forward to seeing their transformation. You should use a before-and-after picture, maybe a few months from now. :D
*clicks link*
***** That's so sad. : (
Unfortunately, since I don't live in the US, I can't sign the petition.
Best of luck to you guys!
You can sign it using ANY US address.
no one stops you from forming the same movement in your country - it's not a solely american problem. Also if this problem is already fixed in your country - you can still ask your government to call their american colleagues
Smh. That's a damn shame what they did to those tigers. Kimba's coat looks terrible. I really hope she gets back to full health.
What a sad thing to happen to such intelligent animals. I've signed whatever petitions I can from outside the US; let's hope for better things in future.
Also, I heard that one of those three tigers have died since this video; I hope I'm wrong?
It is sad that there are more Tiger kept as pets in the US than there are in the wild
at the end if the video the tiger was making a sniffing noise... is that their version of a purr??? this video is 3.20 minutes long and i was in tears right from the start... im in the UK but i really will one day visit you and see are your amazing animals and i'll shake everyones hand... thank you xxx
Not every dream should become a reality. I'd love to have a few dozen exotic cats but there's no way I ever would. Unfortunately, a lot of these guys aren't doing much better in the wild...
People are disgusting, how any human being can treat such amazing animals like that is beyond me.
YOU can help stop it. Please, go to www.BigCatBan.com
I'm from the UK, American congress won't listen to me.
I am a very opened minded person; but what concerns/conerned me greatly was the fact of how close the cages/pens were to each other. This should've been A red flag. Has BCRever seen cages/enclosures this close to one another!?!?
Really? All it takes is a 1 page forum and $40 and I have the ability to own a tiger or other large animal? Wow thanks ridiculous.
