This dude in high school was a total asshole to me just because I was a freshman. Thankfully everyone around noticed once it was really a problem and knew that I was a victim when he threw a basketball at the back of my head (if it was 4 inches lower I would've been knocked out). If i saw that guy again, I'd just try to avoid him because he was just a hateful person, it wouldn't matter if he changed, especially if he didn't even apologize(Which he didn't). Fortunately for me, it didn't last longer than a semester but I know some people just get tortured for years which sucks, and it really does have a lasting impression on your being. Either way, I think Drut was right to leave, and it's fucked for people you think were your friends to put you into a situation like that. They should've backed you up as kids, friends shouldn't bully each other in any way that isn't ironic.
