Cell Bowl 2022: Episode 4 Granulocyte Disorders

Welcome to Cell Bowl Season 2! This year is BIGGER with MORE teams, prizes, sponsors, and a website! We are focusing on Abnormal smears and blood cells this year. Each week will have program spotlights of NAACLS accredited MLT & MLS programs around the nation that are participating in the hematology competition. Each episode has program highlights, game play STATs, and a tutorial about a Hematology cell-line. Please make sure to watch each year of the Cell Bowl as the information builds on the previous season.
This week focused on the average of the first four weeks of the competition, regionals, and categories of myeloproliferative disorders, AML, Myelodisplastic Syndrome, and the types of granulocytic morphology abnormalities seen on the peripheral blood smear. Kathryn Golab joined us to discuss these interesting topics! We also gave out some amazing Medical Lab Lady and CellAVision lab swag!
