- My AC was working all fine and then it stopped blowing I was able to hear the blower fan in the dash but no air was coming out so I stopped at the Volvo purchased it lower fan $170 in Dallas Texas and now I just changed it in 10 minutes very simple and fast repair
Drove an 06 vnl 760 for a month as a loaner, fan made lots of noise, no blowing. I pounded on the dash with fist, air would blow hard and cold. Had to do it every time I shut truck off. Eventually, a shop found a bad resistor, fixed it permanently. No longer in the Volvo, back in my coronado and living good

this vid really helped me but i see the real issue was leak under the air filter housing between bunker connection and front connection so i replaced the o ring and problem solved it was smelling side the cab and i was thinking it was the evap core but it wasnt son for all of the people who thinks issue is evap core please check all connections before starting that repair

Your condenser is probably freezing up. If you heard your fan working before but nothing coming out means the lines are froze... clean the condenser front and back and put a new thermostat probe in it.
What is exactly thermostats probe?

@@beachtransport9768.I have a freezing problem. The AC works for 10-15 minutes and then condenser freezes up. I have to turn off the AC, wait another 10-15 minutes, and then it will work for another 20-30 minutes.

@@yerzhan7475 thats what was happening to mine. it was awhile ago so i cant remember exactly. but try replacing that probe, cleaning out the fins behind the fan (looks like a radiator). and make sure the water is draining properly out of that plug behind your airfilter housing near the firewall

Good video, thank you. My problem on my 2015 is no bunk heat. Mechanic checked and pulled out the blender motor on the passenger side in the side door. He said it tested ok. Said it may be a blown fuse.
Use your webasto heating it's better anyway.

Zamenio motor,termostat i resistor.Duva radi super ali ne hladi .Hladnjak nije hladan i zamrznut kao kod tebe ,kad stavim ruku na njega oseca se hladno ali mislim da nije dovoljno.Sleeper radi perfektno. Sve ovo gore navedeno sto sam zamenio nije radilo .Sta mislis sta moze biti problem? Jel se sleeper i drive odvojeno pune freonom ili ne ? Hvala puno unapred . Živ bio !!
Freon druże, napuni freon i ima treba da radi osim ako se nije zaćepio kondenzer naprijed,a to ,to se rijetko kad dogodi.Pozdrav is New Mexico

What about checking the cab filter located outside below passenger window side. I've changed those on a truck or 2
I change the one right under the windshield on passenger side by the windshield viper and the one in the bunk once a year before summer.
You should of cleaned the evaporator while you were in there as it looked fairly dirty

How do you clean the evaporator? Will that help the blower blow harder?
Pretty sure that was Ice guys. They freeze up a lot. Especially when fans and other stuff not working right

It is difficult to find water on the route. I europe we can find water in all rest areas but here no. What the places for fill the water tank?

What do you think might be wrong with my 2016 vnl 780? My blower stopped working all together and its probably only a year old. It stopped working for a week, then started working again blowing cold air as if nothing was wrong then it stopped working again. I suspect it's the control panel because it started working once after a light tap. it lasted all day but it's off again. Do you suspect it can be the control panel?
I could be only 2 things, short somewhere bad connection the wire , Word the regulator on the thing itself it's on the side looks like a metal piece

I have the same issue with my 2015 vnl 670. AC turning off in the middle of the day. Turning off engine for a few minutes some times helps. Any body knows where to start?
@@radmin2000 change the blower motor. You can do it yourself its very easy and it's a 1 hour job. The blower motor was around $130 surprisingly not that expensive . Don't second guess what else it might be like I did.

How do you know it’s the blower motor right away and not the resistor or the controller itself??
Here is the thing.Everything made for these commercial trucks is made to last certain time or mileage.I can go buy the whole thing and be done and not worry about it , or I can go try to save few bucks and deal with it again, very soon.
Not worth it.
Same thing with replacing belt tensioners don't replace one when it starts giving you signs of failure, replace both right away.
It's just that kind of a thing.

I have air flow switching mechanism not working properly. It doesnt switch it all the way to windshield or feet but blows front vents just fine. Anybody knows how to fix it on Volvo truck? Link me solution or instructions how to fix please.
Sorry I can't help you with the link but I can tell you you can take off part of the dish on the passenger side just like you can see in my video just take the top off to it's held by few screws One is on the speaker. Dad will expose the whole thing inside you can check if something got unhooked Were you just need a New control module
I already tried brand new control module and it didn't change it. I read it could be problem with vent mode door actuator. Thank you for video anyway

There was nothing wrong with the evaporator. I replaced the blower motor And even today it's still working perfect
The evaporator has nothing to do with air blowing out of the vent. Replacing the fan like he did was the correct way

@yerzhan7475 ofcourse it was freezing up with bad blower. Ever since blower was replaced works perfect. It's been few years now.

Was it blowing good air out of passenger vents??
It would blow nice and cold when parked and as soon as I start driving after maybe 20 minutes barely was blowing at all.

I did this plus replace the resistor, still didn't work! Nothing like spending 300 bucks for nothing.
Now just add freon and it will be perfect.For cheaper version go to walmart and buy couple of R134A cans and do it yourself.
