    2 things i would add to your water tank add on, first an outside filler hole that way you dont have to lift seat and unscrew top of water tank every time you need to fill it, all you need is a filler inlet outside of the tank and a pice of hose that goes directly to your tank, just like any boat has with fresh water tank. second a soft ruber matt under your water tank, that way it has some cushing and wont get damage from the weight and bouncing, i use those mats they sell for yoga classes, they are about half inch to 3 quartes thick, that will help the tank live longer. CHEERS good job on the add on.

    So u gotta get your own supply water line from tank to pump and from pump to the connection for the coiled spray hose ? From what little experience I have that one on pressure side needs to be a high pressure hose. “ metal reinforced “

    Why didnt you install a dedicated fresh water wash down instead of converting the existing raw water system?

    • @OutOnTheReef

      Great question Captain the reason I did that is because I want it both I want of the freshwater and I also wanted the raw water available,

    Whats up brother. I am doing this on my boat. Question, does the blue hose on top of the tank that goes inside the tank, does it go all the way to the bottom of the tank?? and the breathing hose inside the tank, does if stay on top of the water?? I'm confused. Gracias!!

    • @OutOnTheReef
      @OutOnTheReef  Před 5 lety +1

      The blue hose goes all the way to the bottom and the Breather you don't need to put it all the way in the bottom just on the top of the surface of the tank and make sure that hose is higher than the tank that way you don't get it spilled over

      @OutOnTheReef  Před 6 lety

      Jaimie that's a great question if you look at my videos I usually go in sleepover nights 2 or 3 nights in the Bahamas and after being in the salt water all day I have to rinse off the salt water so I can be comfortable that's the main reason why I have fresh water

    • @puzle9
      @puzle9 Před 6 lety +1

      Yes I have watched with jealously your stay overs in the Bahamas :-) We may be picking up a new old stock 2016 FSH in a few weeks so I have been researching all I can about the leaks etc. Love seeing you use the boat to the extreme. I doubt a lot of users are doing 4hr ocean crossing.

    • @OutOnTheReef
      @OutOnTheReef  Před 6 lety

      Jaimie yes very few are doing what i do , there is another company it's called Scarab they also are making a new jet boat there is already in the market ,you may want to check it out it's compared to the 190 FSH it's called a Scarab 195 fish open and then you might find it interesting

    • @puzle9
      @puzle9 Před 6 lety +1

      I did look at this boat but really like the Swim Platform and feel of the FSH. We will be on fresh water lakes so will using it more like a true hybrid of fishing and water sports. We have a small Whaler now (13 foot, 40hp). I would like a bigger Whaler but the costs get a little crazy. It is also overkill for what we will be doing with it.

    • @OutOnTheReef
      @OutOnTheReef  Před 6 lety

      Jaimie yes the Boston Whaler is a great boat but it is overpriced so in this case the 190 FSH for the lake will be great better than saltwater and it has a good size engine

      @OutOnTheReef  Před 8 lety

      i did pay 1400 delivery and 799 delivery fee but they deduct me the -$500dealer fee that's was the only break i got

    • @TheGrindMiami
      @TheGrindMiami Před 8 lety +2

      Hey thanks for the info this helps. Btw I found out today invoice price for the boat. Basically the dealer gets it $3000 under MSRP that price included the freight so dealer make $3k Plus the Delivery fee and the prep fee. So basically $5200. total I got my local dealer to a price where I'm getting the FSH Sport for $30,800 + 899 Prep fee. no freight and no dealer fee. So basically the dealer will make $2700 profit
      My point is if you play hard to get dealer will go down. I mean they rather make some money then no money plus they can just order an other boat just like it.
      Any ways thanks for all you videos Yamaha should sponsor you because it was all your videos that convince me to buy this boat instead of a 19' mako for $10k more

    I understand you not using the raw water for rope cleaning and other things like that but to wash the floor of the boat, clean fish (you clean your fish at the back i know) but i would of left the raw water still working and just added the fresh water tank, 7 gallons is not a lot of fresh water any way. You will have to keep on refilling it on every dock your near. CHEERS KEEP SAFE............................

      2FAST4U2 i only like to spray my boat with fresh water to take out that salt water feel to it wich i hate.
      And i did not like the raw water system because wen is activated by the engine power the boat moves in a circle and the intake can suck up my anchor rope i hade closed calls

    One way to keep your fresh water tank and the fish cleaning area FREE of foul smells and odors is by adding hand made disinfectants and deodorizers. A small hand held oxidant generator is all you need. More info is found at Kingswatersystems.com
