i still didnt get the rotation pattern.. its so confusing.. it is like in clockwise direction that is okay but then who replaces who and when i didnt get that.. still i understood whether anyone moves in any direction they must not break the sequence 123456.. but still it is confusing me that who actually does recieving the ball when it comes back to serving side court and passes to right hitter position occupying person.. and also, at the ttime of hitting who sctually occupies hitter position?? how they rotates after serving.. it is confusing big big big big n bigger to me..
I want to join the volleyball team for my high school and I want to be good at it but I don’t know since I’m starting so late ;-;

In ninth grade and in 10th grade before tryouts I would start conditioning with all the volleyball girls I have never played volleyball before but I was so fascinated by it and every day I would watch videos like these on CZcams to learn more about it and I even had my own Pinterest board I really fell in love with it and honestly I probably wasn’t even that good and every time I went to conditioning I saw that the other girls were really good or girls that had been in the game for a while and I was intimidated I thought I wasn’t good enough and I thought. I would never get better so both years I quit right before tryouts...Now I am 21years old I graduated three years ago and I still to this very day regret not trying out because I thought I wasn’t good enough and I’m still obsessed with volleyball so if you’re watching this and you have the opportunity to try out and you feel like you’re not good enough or you’re looking around and you feel like there are other people that are better KEEP TRYING and KEEP PRACTICING and make sure to tryout don’t quit and then have regret years later.

I have played 45 years. You can play it fun, and simple, or, if you want to win, you need to learn the advanced stuff.

I just excepted the job of being a team manger for my schools jv and varsity volleyball teams, with them know ik very little to none about volleyball and this video is really making me nervous. I will only be helping out with practices but also keeping score so im really nervous about how its going to turn out. Thank you for posting this video because i did learn alot. Like i didnt know what a libro was and the names for the positions on the court. Its a start to a very long journey of learning.

wow I´m really surprised to get to know that the numbers 1-6 are actually given in the opposite direction than in germany... i mean in germany you start with the 1 in the right corner and then the 2 is where you have the 6... we´re doing the numbers against the clock ... pretty interesting ^^

I don't think he mentioned that if the ball is contacted by one of the blockers as it comes across the net, it does not count as one of the three allowed contacts with the ball.

Is it that important or should my coach cover that? Also, I really wanna make the team because the coach to the volleyball team at my school is also the baseball coach. My brothers play for him and they are good so that will be embarrassing. Anyone help me?

Liana Nicole Why don't you try a church league? I'm a volleyball coach at my church and my girls are all different but it's just for fun and exercise. They are all Christian girls and I've only ever heard them laugh at me. (Which is perfectly appropriate bc I'm silly sometimes.) I hope you know the Lord, if you don't, I would highly recommend it. He is the best friend you could ask for.
