I like how legit terrific Jill looks after that first turnaround zombie, this is so faithful. Jill from RE1 was a long way from becoming the badass female heroine she's now.

@@zZiL341yRj736 well I don't really mind about the race change (as long as the acting was great, and they can fit into the Characther persona, Im okay with it), the problem is they didn't even try to make a proper costume for the actor (or at least make the actor/actress look like the ones in the game), heck even the fan art with the actor/actress face looks better than the leak image we got

The costumes are so good it's scary. Whoever made them deserves an award just for the authenticity. Same goes for the set and lighting.

Why the movies based on books are more faithful to the source than movies based on games?

I only recently realized why I loved the beginnings of the RE games, but not so much the later acts. Especially in RE1, the setting seemed like a different period. The decor and look of the mansion didn't look like something out of 1998. The movies lacked any of that appeal. This film has the vibe I've been looking for all these years.

Only 34k views? Almost every other resident evil fan film is like this amateur phone-filmed, shaky cam cringe-worthy mess with multitude times more views than this masterpiece! Omg! Well scripted, wonderful cinematography and great atmosphere, costume design and everything! These films u made shuld have millions of views!

Coming back here after Netflix announcement to comfort myself with an actual good live-action adaptation of Resident Evil.
Why is it so difficult for big names in the movies and séries industry to accomplish that, I wonder.
I'm doing the same thing, I don't get it if they don't want to follow the source material then just make a different movie, don't bring RE into it.

The zombie when it first turns around and the monnlight hits his face through the window, looks exactly like the video game did! That Barry's voice and the gunshots and sound effects were also spot on! Great fucking job guys!

Just want you guys to know that I've been a fan of resident evil since I was about 8 or 9 yrs old and im blown away by the quality of your fan film. I hope one day to see the full beginning to end of this fan work! You guys literally have the best looking "first zombie" I've ever seen! Literally the best fan film I've seen for resident evil and it absolutely has the feel of the games! Hollywood should take note of your work because your video is better that all the live action resident evil movies!

This Jill Valentine is the most accurate characterisation (in my oppinion), and this Barry Burton is as well, but with less good acting. Good Job though, I really appreciate the effort taken to get this stuff together.
