I first heard Madcat at a venue on Hill St 40 years ago. It was a revelation and inspired me to take up music-making.
I really like good regional music. It is what makes this country unique.

Madcat is awesome. We used to follow him back in the day in Michigan. I remember when he was featured in a McDonald’s commercial, and I have and autographed copy of Gone Solo on vinyl!

I was stopping YT videos to copy riffs from James Cotton and Kim Wilson. I can’t get them like they play them, but I know what’s going on and I can get them one by one. Madcat though, there’s still a lot of mystery for me. His video New Harmonica Boogie confounds me.
