Earthworm Jim DNA Figure 2024

Here is my Earthworm Jim DNA figure I purchased from AliExpress about a week ago and arrived today.
I am really happy with it and it doesn't feel cheap at all.
Comes with all the accessories and fits well with the retro toy line!

I fully believe that these are not damaged stock, not rejects, not bootlegs etc.
Given the company's history, I am more leaning towards an issue with paying the manufacturer. At which point the manufacturer would liquid their stock sending off full pallets that end up on aliexpress. The quality is there, the painted details are all fine. And in my opinion as a collector my whole life, it takes some time before you start seeing bootlegs of figures, not very likely to me that there are thousands of bootleg jims floating around online before the toy has even left the warehouse.
I say rejoice because we are getting a severely overpriced figure for a much more sensible price, I'm more than happy to cancel my bbts order and get the whole line for cheap. Finally some cosmic justice against megalopolis.

Any qc issues with it yet? I am wondering if they are the legit figs that were meant to start shipping this quarter. Premium DNA has said they received an initial batch and had them returned as they didn't meet their standard for quality.

There's something a bit insulting after paying full price 2 years ago for figure that keeps getting pushed back while AliExpress provides one for £15

I think these are defects from the factory which also explains the set back bc all their other lines released

​@@sinnerz7I don't think you have a "knock-off" per say. The legit ones were supposed to launch by Q2 2024. Reportedly they finished 1 batch that Premium DNA were not happy with. The big box stores are still not releasing theirs yet. I'm speculating these figures are from that first batch

I don't think these alliexpress jims are bootlegs, I think they're "rejects". I've been in contact with the guys at premium DNA and they said they had to send a big shipment back to the factory in china (where the figures are made) cause they weren't up to snuff. I think those rejected figures might now be on alliexpress.

It's insane. If they just did it up to retail standards it would have been fine. Now they wasted time and money on something they have to now fix.
Banjo had some issues too with shipping.
I had one ordered for Christmas. Shipping was so late my spouse canceled it through credit card....and then they shipped it AFTER the money was refunded.
They bleed money with silly things like qc return fixes and not paying attention to shipping

@@herewego8686 well it happens with small companies, but they do what they can to fix the issue. like I got the battletoads figures and the one for zitz had 2 left forearms (so he didn't have the communicator on his right arm). I brought this up in a comments section jokingly (cause I didn't really care cause it didn't affect the figure at all) but they got ahold of me and sent me a whole new zitz figure free of charge.

Premium DNA messed up and lost their stock of these, but they're probably still working on getting some. So they post on IG about how these are no good/rejected due to quality (lol), and they convince people to wait and pay them 50 bucks for the same figures.
Crazy to me that anyone would believe a word from PDNA when they were just stealing people's money as Megalopolis a few years ago. This is a big win for Earthworm Jim fans.
