In theold days, (I'm 77) my mom would use a paste called Bruce's and she would put on small section of wood floor at a time n then buff it out til it shined n it protected the wood floors.
Target online has really pretty rugs. The designs are so appealing and not over powering. I bought one for our living room and love it!!!! 😍

I really love my tiered trays
I have a money saving tip for you - instead of buying the wet mop pads for my Swiffer, I use an old wash cloth, get is wet, wring it out and attach it to the Swiffer. Spray the floor with your favorite multipurpose cleaner ( I use Windex multipurpose) , and throw the wash cloth in the washer to re use.
I do this sometimes when I don't have any wet pads. Works great!
I love to do little gifts for my kids too. I just took my Christmas down. I will take my trees down tomorrow. I wish I could fit my big tree in a tote. It would be great. The box on my flock tree doesn’t want to shut. So awkward, it doesn’t stack in my Christmas storage room.
I have ll my Christmas lights on 😆 I took down my merry Christmas mat and door hanger but I kept the other stuff. I was hoping to have a pretty snow with them and hasn’t happened yet :( I kept my wintery items and added my cabin/snow items and mugs. I am about ready to add my valentines in. I just love the winter glowing lights and coziness.

Marie I think you are fantastic. You are a great housekeeper, and just a great parent. We all feel guilty at times when we have to discipline or make our kids clean up after themselves or do chores. But believe you me when I tell you, that is what makes strong,independent, polite children. Your oldest daughter should make her own bed. A 13 year old is more than capable of that. And the other two oldest are more than capable of cleaning up their messes. I always started mine at 3 picking up after themselves. And if they didn’t get it all they went back and got it. I use to get up in the morning having to be at work myself at 7:00 am to be at work and drop him off at McDonalds thru summer vacation from school so he could be there when they opened. My kids worked through summer vacation in high school when they got old enough to work by law. Now I have two children making good money .working for the county where we live. Both have good high paying jobs. Believe me you are doing your kids a favor. These girls picking up after these kids are not doing them any favors. I for one think you are doing an excellent job from what I see.
Yes my kids make their own beds but I film cleaning videos as my job for motivating others, so it's ok if I clean and make up ther beds for them sometimes. 😊
@@MarieLoveAsbury of course it is. I wasn’t trying to imply anything. I just admire you. You are about the only one I ever see that make their kids do anything. I don’t know if you watch her or not, but Kellie’s Korner and you are a lot alike. I think she’s great also.
I would turn that rug and put the part that won't lie down under your couch or fold it under till it behaves until I could find a rug I wanted.

Loved your video came across it today and love your decor. For your rug you can put a few pieces of ice and let it melt and then place a cup or something like a paperweight to hold it down. After it dries the corner of the rugs should stay flat!
Love your videos. Hey tip for the kids love baskets put a tissue paper down before u put the shredded paper that way it doesn’t slip thru the basket helped me avoid a mess 😅

Omg love the love baskets!! I totally did not know squishmallows had lip balm. I need to get myself some 😂 the little doll reminds me of Angelina ballerina cartoon she was like a little mouse or rabbit I don't remember. I also had these big white sparkly wings you could wear they actually had feathers.

We had several tress down and flooding the winds here in central NC were shaking our home and we live in a structural built home was terrifying, and to think another round of this just two days later 🤦🏽♀️ it’s even crazier when your a mom and trying to keep your home safe for your kids and family adds extra stress hope you guys all stay safe as well and the flooding resides!
@ashfam5 OH yes I could imagine! A tornado came near my house when I was 8 years old. My mom had my brother and I in the hallway with pillows and blankets. When the house started shaking, I gave most of the pillows that were around me to my little brother. He never knew I did that... A memory I'll always remember.

Soo cutee. And I may be odd but I actually save all my kids valentines day cards from school 🤷♀️ lol I have big totes that I save ALOT of my kids stuff in, I have a hard time getting rid of their stuff. ❤️❤️

You can use nail glue on the press on nails and it works great!
