Nice to see what pot worms look like my friend, why are they bad for the bin?

When the pot worms population explodes its a sign the bin is too wet and not the ideal living conditions for the red worms to live in. They wont hurt them but will eat the majority of food meaning less food for the ones actually making the castings. Thanks for watching Terry. :-)

Hello Cher!! I'm very happy to have found your channel!! I have lots of pumpkin to feed my bins so I was glad you mentioned you have fed it pumpkin previously without any issues! I was about to hold off! The close ups were amazing!! If anyone was wondering what a pot worm looks like compared to a compost worm, this is the video to watch!!đŸȘ±đŸȘ±đŸȘ±

Good job getting the bin back into balance, Cher. The shot of the ones on the lid was amazing!

Yes if we reduce the bin to a normal level and not too wet the pot worms do try to leave by congregating on the lid or the sides of the worm farm and we can then just sweep them off. Good bye uninvited guests. Thanks for stopping by Sandra. :-)
