    Love the park mode - the simple flash pattern gets your attention without being distracting.

    Whelen CenCom CORE is a truly amazing system to use. Lancaster, welcome to the future!

    Nice set up and nice work on the install but why would you tell the public about what button controls the weapon lock? That's supposed to remain secret and not general knowledge.

    • @1VaDude
      @1VaDude Před 3 lety +2

      I wondered about that too. When I was a deputy sheriff almost 20 years ago, we had a hidden "anti-theft" pedal hidden under the floor below the brake pedal which had to be depressed before the car could move. That was with the old Ford Crown Vics, though, and they were retired a long time ago. Only other cops would know about it.
      I do agree that showing the location of the "weapons release" button was not prudent. That being said, not every department will have it set up the same way and some still use an old-school key lock. Other agencies keep them secured by key lock in the rear hatch area.

    Corner lighting cut off on door openning and gunlock button/dimmer reaction are my favorites. Very clever. Cheers from Russia

    That is a very cool 2020 Ford Police Interceptor and those cops in Lancaster will be happy to have it in their fleet. Love the light bar, graphics, paint job, etc., etc. The only thing that should be different is the "seal" on the door. It ought to say "Commonwealth of Pennsylvania" on it........even if the font had to be smaller.
    They did the same thing her in Richmond, VA with some of their police vehicles too. Love the black & white color scheme and it is great to see it coming back with so many departments. Plain white on all cop cars can get boring.

    Last week you guys said the proper way to mount a linear Ion on the side of the rambar was in horizontal but now I see it’s in vertical? What gives?

      Horizontal is the proper way for the light to spread like it’s designed to, but I’ve seen light mounted in the wrong orientation to fit in a certain space

    your vids are great, but invest in a camera that actually shows your lights... the one you're using is not capable of displaying your products correctly, solid lights strobing, etc...

    • @alexvucha6207
      @alexvucha6207 Před 3 lety

      You can get the "flicker effect" you see in the scene, cruise, and low power mode with any camera. When filming LED's you have to adjust your frame rate otherwise, yes, it looks like this...

    • @dasarge84
      @dasarge84 Před 3 lety

      LEDs use PWM or puls width modulation to do their dimming most automotive applications flash rate is over 150 fpm in person you cant see it but the camera sees a strobing effect ive never seen a camera yet that could get it not to strobe in day light the core with that pulsing effect over strobing is rather cool looking ive got this system on a couple of my rapid responce recovery vehicles and its way easier on people driving by its way less distracting it makes you known but not a danger very smart patturn on whelens part

    Just curious have you had any utility come through with the unique OEM fog lights from Ford I have not seen them on any interceptor utility other than the demo. the package must be too expensive or something that no department orders them. I don’t understand they went out of their way to make something that works only on that vehicle and they don’t even sell them aftermarket. You cannot find them anywhere, I have looked.

      They ought to have equipped this SUV with a water cannon atop the roof -- for the next time the hooligans in Lancaster decide to riot when a rampaging thug with a knife gets shot while trying to murder a police officer.
