    If you are not paying off a loan or saving up for a down payment you need to GTFO of your parents house. If you're working full time and still can't afford it then you need to move. Nobody owes you a loft in the big expensive city you have to earn it by working your ass off. Guys I've been there. I live in one of the most expensive/low wage cities in the world and moving out after college seemed impossible. I set a date and told my parents and everyone I was moving out before I even found a proper job. This emotionally set me on fire and motivated me to do everything in my power to get a job. Look into trades, my brother makes just as much as me as a drywaller and didn't have to go to college.

    if your a single guy making minimum wage (or just above it), your living with someone PERIOD. whether it's with your girlfriend, parents, roommates, friends whatever. you cant make it on your own, not in this economy. It's easy for Adam to pass judgment since he is not in that situation. but when you have an economy starved for jobs, jobs leaving our shores, Immigrant influx lowering the working standards across the board, this is the norm for today. everyone i know is either living with their parents/GF/roomates, including myself. Id love to live on my own, but im not making 50k plus, that is a pipe dream for many Americans presently.

      +James Koutnik according to your philosophy, everyone who works hard would be millionaires, yet that isn't the case is it? there are only so many good paying jobs and millions of people looking to acquire them, it is simple ratios which you cant seem to calculate in your small minded way of thinking.

      +Peter von Karstein You should have some skill at age 37 though... I was a loser most of my life, dropped out of college twice and even I was hitting $50k a year at age 25. I simply entered the job market making $10 an hour and out-worked people twice my age with ten times my experience and took one of their jobs. I'm not a genius. I'm not gifted. I went to work every day and gave 100% effort. I'm tired of the lazy people coming up with excuses; bad economy, jobs overseas, immigrant influx, blah blah blah. The only people I know that are out of a job are piss poor workers. But hey, I can't complain because it makes it that much easier for me to keep my job.

    There was a time when progress could be measured by the social status of women and minorities. Now society's downfall is partly being measured by the number of adult males in America who are unemployed (about 1 in 6) and still living at home (about 1 in 3). Now that healthcare is "free" (meaning $200-1,000/month) and 30 hours is considered "full-time" I'll be surprised if anyone aside from illegals and robots are still working in a few decades.

      they are so unaware if the common struggles, i worked hard created a business at 24 and at 27 the epa shut me down for nothing, i dont want to argue the details but it was for nothing, they even admited it but by then i didnt have money to pay for the associated fees due to there investigation, so for years i was craigslisting etc and downsized to poverty levels, Struggling and having a fucked life doesnt equal being a loser, if you want to change your life you have to work hard and take risks, but risks can set you back 10 years, good to see they understand at the show

    to be honest a lot of cultures have the whole family live in one house... the grandparents look after the kids while the younger adults work... this very prevalent in asian households... why is a college kid already in 200k debt going to buy a house and go 400k in debt... what do you want people to do? and then bitch that they r in debt

    • @brainphelps1994
      @brainphelps1994 Před 8 lety

      +Andrew Clunie no that's not why. It's because listening to her voice reminded me of how she was on the show. She had better chemistry with Adam on air at least, she was much more talented comedically, she contributed way more than Gina does, she was more engaged and asked way better questions. I can't think of the last time Gina said something that made me even chuckle. Alison was chalk full of substance, it seemed like every couple of shows she would have a new line that Bryan made into a drop, where as Gina just has the "Don't Care!" and that's it.
