I don't know in which village you live in but you need a primary doctor(GP) if you pay monthly for the Bulgarian NHS(if its possible for you, do it)you really should have one already. In Bulgaria you first visit your GP(unless is an emergency), if they can't help they send you to a specialist and its all covered by the NHS(very similar to the UK but less waiting times thankfully). Your kids need a primary doctor too that is a pediatrician. Some doctors take care of the whole family both adults and kids. Go look into it, there should be some that speak English too. In Bulgaria I had my GPs phone number I feel sorry I bothered her even on the weekends...A GP close by is a good fast choice but a GP thats already in a big hospital will save you time when you need to go around doing scans and visiting other specialists. If you are not happy with the first one, you can change them every June and December. You can also temporarily switch your GP for 3 months for whatever reason like you can say you are moving or something else because a doctors get paid based on how many patients have listed them as their GP. So of course, you want a good doctor that cares for you to receive that money.

@@Kitty_cat2001 Basically, the reactions are "bizarre" to us on TV, because we are not used to foreigners. The journalist says what they see BG as corruption, for them is freedom. The title in Cyrillic is "The New Bulgarians"., because as you are aware we lost 3 million people after the collapse the Soviet Union. In the interview you also see other foreigners. The journalist also tries to explain sees how foreigners cherish our culture. The other journalist is also explaining that BG is not really far away from UK. Basically for us it is rare that foreigners feel "patriotic" about Bulgaria, because we usually have a bad image in the West and America. This is why US still imposes visas to us and why Austria is blocking us from Schengen. I think corruption exists everywhere. Yes, BG is not "fancy" like Dubai sometimes, but it is a safe and chill country. We are trying to improve economically and have transitioned from Communism to Capitalism and not an easy task. We have complicated ties with both Russia and Ukraine, because there are approx. 200x Bulgarians in Ukraine called Bessarabian Bulgarians, but we also had Russian soldiers fight for the liberation of Bulgaria from the Ottomans. We are also generally pro-EU, but like in many Balkan states very patriotic about our culture, we like to expose our flag and still flag maybe because we survived for a long period for so many centuries brutally murdered by the Ottomans and Byzanties. It is still very debatable if the Soviets really occupied us, but were an isolated country compared to Yugoslavia. Russia until today considers us as their unofficial 16th Soviet Union state, but we were never part of it. However, Russian and Bulgarian are close when it comes in written form. This is also the reason why many Russians own houses by the Black Sea, but you will also see lots of Ukrainians. We were in the side of Nazis, but ironically saved the Jews. As usual, the history of Bulgaria is very complicated. Well, for some reason the "modern" Bulgarian state was founded in 681. Similar to the Hungarians and Finns we originate from Asia. This is why the names Magyar (Hungarian) and Bulgars sound the same. Our flags with Hungary look almost the same and we have many street names after Hungarians. Britain bombarded Bulgaria, but we now have lots of Brits visiting our beach and ski resorts. We do not have any issue with Brits, but a bit "obsessed" with Germany. This is the reason why you will find many German brands in Bulgaria compared to France. Our 2 coastal airports and even the 1 in Sofia are all operated by German operators. However, our airports are very well connected with UK and Ireland. Sofia and Burgas much much more in summer.
