The “you fell for the old fake Joker gag” twist is one of my favorite gaming moments ever. Still remember my reaction when I was younger
Also, there are TONS of clues throughout the game. Literally tons. And most people are still blindsided by it

Having clues that are only obvious on replay are one of my favourite things to see in media.
True he literally tells you off bat (no pun intended) the twist and you wouldn't even have guessed it. God I love this game.

There is a dlc where you get to play as robin. Also if you go back to see Ra's Al Ghul's body, it is no longer there

Arkham origins is in no way a perfect game but I love the story, the combat isn’t that bad and the voice acting is crazy good
Yeah none of them are bad games by any means. Origins was better than Asylum IMO, but that's sacrilege to say apparently. It goes: Asylum, Origins, City then Knight for me in terms of how much I enjoyed the game.

the lazarus pit only works when there's a lightning and clayface was already immortal so him getting in the pit means nothing

when I first finished arkham city I felt the same. Thankfully, you can replay the game or new game+ whenever and it still remains fresh. I didn't even care about batman or superheroes, but this whole series I always replay it
I like Arkham Asylum more than Arkham City and the others because of it's claustrophobic and isolated atmosphere alone. But also the balanced metroidvania-style exploration progression, atmosphere (obviously), artstyle, the attention to detail, the densly packed references all over the map and the overall magic are aspects the sequels didn't quite recapture, so no I don't think City improved in every way, City is still close tho and I would consider it the second best superhero game of all time, right behind Arkham Asylum because it has a bigger scope, more gadgets, better bosses and gameplay, but that goes without saying for sequels back then in the peak gaming era

Man this video was a banger I can’t wait for origins and knight unfortunately it’s not playable on Xbox anymore unless you have an older console but you can play it on PlayStation which ps plus premium I don’t know about pc though

What i want so badly is a game that mixes the Arkham style of combat with the decisive and punishing moveset formula of the Soulsborne games. Maybe keeping the lock on mechanic when wanting to focus on singular enemies, but using the freeflow system when unlocked 😮🤯

I love Arkham Origins. It’s worth it and underrated.
The catwoman parts are DLC, the original game ends with Batman leaving the jokers body with the cops.
Onto Origins we go. You’re gonna love it. But I will say Knight is definitely the best imo
If use you detective mode during the joker fight you can tell it is clay face because he has no bones
Use Quickfire Batarang/Gel/Batclaw/Freeze Blast.

Good luck getting arkham origins on xbox, it was the most difficult arkham game to get since its mot available on xbox store. The only way is to order the game online

I will admit the game is pretty buggy tho (but so is Arkham Knight lol let's be real) and has some other issues like some very lacking side quests for example, however on the other hand this game has THE best bossfights out of the entire series and also a really decent story in my opinion (even if some parts clash with the established story, but who cares man)
