That makes no sense at all... since he partnered with Chante.. and she is American. Nothing wrong with Chante.. and their duet was crazy stupid off the charts great.. .... but..... that still doesn't make sense to his explanation.?!?!? What the what??? 😳☹🤨🤔
I think Dimash is just trying to avoid the drama .. Because she was wearing her RIP, Love outfit and they rehearse before their performances , they're not put on the spot. And you can hear the BEFORE you
It was the show's team that asked Dimash to cover up the truth; otherwise, Dimash might face a ban in China in the future. Just listening to the original video, it's undoubtedly "before you" and not "singer for you." Moreover, on Chinese websites and forums, the original video has been deleted everywhere, and even the audio has been edited to say "for you." Additionally, there are online agents leaving comments everywhere saying that Dimash's later explanation is correct.
All actions clearly show that the Chinese show is covering up the truth.
Great reaction to our girl Faouzia. She is the Queen of our hearts. Her poise and integrity shines through. Faouzia is a breath of fresh air. Intelligent, sassy, funny, articulate, elegant, captivating and a phenomenally talented artist, lyricist and musician. She is an Engineer too! With the over sexualisation in the music industry today being so overwhelming, Faouzia is a wonderful role model for the younger generation to emulate.
RIP love was a fantastic choice. Especially with the way that she rearranged it. Absolute showstopper and in my top two favorite performances of the whole season.
As I have said, on other forums, there’s nothing that I can say that she should’ve done that she didn’t do. She showcased her entire range of abilities every single week. From her ability to rearrange songs, her vocal dynamics and technical abilities, her instrument playing, she improved her stage performance, and even did things that I didn’t expect singing in Chinese! She really blew the minds of the Chinese people and I believe gained lots of fans there and is a household name there now. She has gained almost 1,000,000 followers on a social media platform since the competition ended. She’s doing a movie soundtrack. She is in advertisements in China!! She won the heart of China, she blew the mind of people who were already fans! I am so proud of her, just as you say. A fan for life.

See, the thing is,
In Dimash's season, he didn't get first place, even though he was a audience and fan favourite and everybody loved him and wanted to win, because he is a foreigner, and it's in the show's agenda that only Chinese will win.
Because that's the whole point of the show. It is to have a bunch of Chinese performers attend, along with a few more foreign competitors for reference, to show to the world that at the end of the day, it is the Chinese that is the best and is the most talented compared to the rest.
The only problem is, they weren't expecting the foreigners coming in to be so talented tho.
But they still went against popular public wish, and instilled Chinese performers as winners in every single season, because the producers had only one agenda of boosting and praising their country, so that's what they were going to do.
But in Jessie J's case, they couldn't get away with it due to her fame. So in order to not lose reputation and not cause a big scandal, they gave her first place like she deserved, instead of slighting her and putting her out of the top position like they did with other foreigner competitors (that were supposed to be winners) (like Dimash Kudaibergen and KZ Tendigan) of the previous seasons.
And they (other than that Jessie J season, to avoid scandal) have always put Chinese performers as top positions and never let a foreigner win.
And if you ever call them out on it, they will point to Jessie J and say "See we're not biased against foreigners, we let Jessie win!" kinda like how some Americans say "I'm not racist, my friend is black!"
And so they will always get away with it. And they got away with it in Faouzia's case too. Because she's not that well known as Jessie. So they thought they could take advantage of her and make her lose the finals for Chinese to win.
But don't worry tho, a good chunk of China are mad in Weibo (Chinese Twitter) that she didn't get her rightfully-earned first place.
Everyone knows the bias that took place, so none of the viewers are being fooled by these results.
At the end of the day, our girl got great exposure by coming to this country and gained a whole new set of millions of fans that she can forever be grateful for, so yeah.

FWIW, there are a bunch of performances from her following this competition. She remained in China and is doing various events - award shows, the Singer Gala (she sang ICE there), a movie soundtrack performance, etc.

Na Ying is a very popular singer in China and has been singing since the 80’s. She was a judge on the Voice Chine which got cancelled because of the scandal that Coco Lee (Chinese singer) outed last year. The scandal was about how the show was rigged and that the judges AND producers of the show were getting paid by half talented contestants to have their chairs turn for them in the show. Coco Lee was humiliated and shunned by the show, that Na Ying was part of. So her winning this show, I am sure, was written in the contract before the show even began.
The more I learn about it the more I think this was the plan all along 😭

Lee was Chinese-American. After her death, several recordings of her angrily denouncing unfair competition on the Voice of China were released, sparking outrage. However the anger of the public is different from that of those in power. Understandably, Dimash rushed to “set the record straight.” Whatever he said before. Unlike Faouzia, he gained fame and opportunities because of China, so he could not afford to upset China. His country has a similar governmental system to China and, like its younger brother, maintains close and beneficial ties with it.
Na Ying is also regarded as a "mentor" to Chinese singers because she and her sisters have good political connections. The same goes for those who run Chinese provincial TV stations

The Chinese sentiment of the show being for Chinese performers and showcasing legends is very valid. In that case, then they shouldn’t have international people competing. But at the same time I feel like Faouzia and chante had won over people over the course of the season, so I don’t see them flipping out if either of them had won. So if the producers were freaking out and decided to rig things to make sure a Chinese person won, that was unfair and unnecessary. I feel like they really saw how much of a threat Faouzia was, to go out of their way to put her so far away from number one that she was number four? They really saw how much she put into the season and saw her as a threat.
@@Rosannasfriend Right! Why bring foreign artists onto the show and give audiences the illusion that they have a chance at winning? There was a lot going on behind the scenes that we’ll never know about, I’m sure they all signed NDAs.

I just cried... 4th place, not even top 2.. They did it to Dimach who was clearly unmatched, and now they've done to Faouzia 😭😭😭 I haven't heard of KZ before but oh wow... Now there's no doubt about it, the show is rigged against foreigners.

Fawzia rightfully deserves the first place, but unfortunately, the results were unfair. Even Damash exposed them, saying that the winner must be Chinese, making it impossible for a foreigner to get the first place. However, Fawzia is the first for us ❤️❤️
Tre, The math doesn’t make sense. There’s no way she had only 16% of the vote after being so popular week after week. How does a track record of being in the top three every single week end up in an average of being fourth place?

so yeah , not only she lost but she also ranked last lmao 4th , all the top 3 were chinese so that tells u something , she was the most versatile , stable , the highest rated , but she got last what a joke , and I remember that Na ying was last before and there was a sacrifice made to help her,

I loved your reaction and insights Tre! I was left shook when I seen the results after seeing the performances. Nothing in my universe made sense to me at the moment. I am so glad you shared your knowledge of the show .. some of the history of what's gone down.. and then the purpose of the show. Sooooo... thannnnnnnnnnnk you for talking me down from the ledge! 🙃😅 To say I was disappointed in this show is an understatement. I think it's gross to use the western talents for ratings... and not give them a very fair shot at not winning the show. Don't invite them on to be contestants if it's rigged for the Chinese artists. It would be better just to invite huge western artists to come on and be duet partners .. or just come on and do a performance to celebrate the show. It's wrong to put artists like Faouzia and Chante through all the stress and toll of competing and not be able to win if they are the best of the season. That way they can then just fair and square make it about their Chinese talent. Ugh... I am so frustrated.. and disappointed. However.. from day one.. I have said Faouzia already won.. she won by expanding her international audience... and getting industry experience.. and how to deal with high stress and high demand situations.. and like you said.. she handled it with grace.. maturity and grit! Holy RIP Love was delivered with such rebelliousness and grit!!! 😊😉She just pulled out everything she had in her bag.. and was like... "take that!!!!" lol Oh my gosh I love her.. and she truly showed the world what she is made of, and also how magical she can be! That show should not make it as a contest if they are only giving the win to themselves because some foreign artists are better.

But for NaYing to place first, I'm sorry but the audience was probably chosen from her fanbase or something.. Especially now seeing the percentages, NaYing did nothing to win by majority. Either way, the results were sad, outrageous, and most of all hilarious. It could've also just been a matter of taste, but I think not.

I ca understand the concept of nationalism, and celebrating one's own culture HOWEVER, if it's a for granted thing that the winners must be Chinese then they should not invite foreign artists to participate as competitors...maybe just invite them as perform as artists because ultimately it's not fair to the artists, their talent, the public, the countries of the other artist, and basically the art itself. It's such a blatant disrespectful thing to do, especially at this time where the receipts are right there.

The show was scripted, and Na Ying bribed the show since her sister is one of the "powerful" person. The track record from the show doesn't show Na Ying performance that good even her final sounds nervous and lacking that "champion" energy. Her tears were fake and also her reaction for the announcement were also fake. It is scary.
As a singer (not to be disrespectful) but trust me na ying isn’t even half as talented as faouzia and for her to win over chante and faouzia is a joke
