My takeaways are: 1. You must take cognizance of the size of the business when designing. 2. One of the key elements of OD is chain of command; reporting lines must be well defined. 3. Workforce planning, well defined communication channels, policy and procedure must be considered when designing. My action plan is: I will pay more attention to how to secure the "buy in" of my stakeholders.
