If I fed someone fake information, I would not wait two days to reveal it. As soon as Dot dropped, you'd see a full video of me and my fake mole giving that info.
Just because you have the card doesn’t mean you should play it.
@@metro-snwhy wouldn’t he play the only thing that could save him? Or do you think he’s waiting till later after the consensus says Kendrick won to crush that lol
@@metro-snThe overwhelming majority of people are saying Kendrick not only won but killed Drake so if he had any proof he fed Kendrick false info or proof of any of the allegations he made against Kendrick he would've already shown it
Exactly. When Drake first drop the song I was wondering how it would affect Kendrick but then I really started thinking about it like if you were doing that why wouldn’t you keep the receipts? Because him just saying that doesn’t cut it. Especially because all the drake fans and they’re working overtime. I think they are Drake fans that have only slept a combination of two hours since this beef started but they’re going around telling people that all weekend. I think Drake got the idea from his fans because just saying it doesn’t mean shit if you don’t have the receipts. And in a battle where people have been saying things like “whoever has the receipts wins” that’s one scenario where the receipt should be the easiest to produce.
But if Drake don't have an 11 year old daughter, where did that come from?
Euphoria is so cryptic in the aftermath. It’s basically a prophecy of how everything would play out
Literally lol. Dot was in control of this whole battle. He wants to end Drake's career.
But it was supposed to be a friendly fade 😭
That BBL Drizzy beat is Hall of Fame nasty work 🤣😭💀
Candyman is the better description. He waited for Drake to say his name three times!!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Drake has been gas station ramen for years. Easy to consume, low on calories, but widely available. Kendrick trying to warn us of the garbage we putting in our body with some wholesome meals.
sure but there has always been a Drake type mainsteam megastar. this is nothing new or revealing
Drake's inflated ego made him think he could beef with Kendrick and come out on top. Drake's a good rapper, but Kendrick is one of the greatest MCs ever and beefing with Kendrick is like tugging on Superman's cape.
Excellent take. "Not Like Us" was the dagger for me. Further proved that Kendrick could dance in Drake's lane, but Drake can't dance in Kendrick's. That 3rd Verse on Atlanta is my favorite verse of the entire battle.
Bwahahah . Little kenny try singing like Drake in that song called (Love) and it song like a Cat getting MURDERED. Drake is one of a kind he is a Unicorn who can Sing and Rap. I don't have to tell you how he folded Little kenny on his own song Poetic Justice, he might aswell had just given Drake the Song But I digress.

@@wrecker402😂😂 yea ight bro
I 100% agree. This ain't a normal rap battle. Dot trying to end Drake's career.
I think one thing that Kendrick is really good at is making characters and then telling stories about them. He built up Drake into a character and then told the story of his downfall to ensure his actual downfall. Kendrick is crazy. Like comic book crazy because that's some Riddler shit.

Been watching Bomani on tv for over 10 years. This CZcams/podcast shit should be his lane man congrats fam
The fact that people think "not like us" is Kendrick's 1st hit make me question if they actually listen to rap...
What was humble?
What was love?
What was loyalty?
What was alright?
What was money trees?
What was swimming pools?
What was b** don't kill my vibe?
And we not talkin #1's...
Bomani the only ESPN dude that has talked about this beef with knowledge and facts
He’s not a ESPN dude anymore lol
@@slimthugga1 Once on ESPN your always considered a ESPN dude in my world
He's background is as a music journo so it makes sense lol
I think this topic is beneath grown men with dignity at this point.
Naw fam , Marcellous Wiley dropped a hammer
How bomani beat the JBP to this breakdown 🤦🏿🤦🏿🤦🏿🤦🏿
Because he drops on Monday. Jbp records their Monday patreon on fridays.

Kendrick made a club banger diss track. 👑👑👑
I spent the last 6 days listening to Kendrick and Drake diss raps and I’m 65. Been around since the beginning of rap. I realized over the weekend I had been up almost 24 hours. This battle was immensely satisfying as I am a KDot fan. Not Like Us was the ultimate I am up Crip walking vicariously living in Compton, out in the club screaming. One of the best times in my life. I am I will always know Not Like Us is the truth
Just wished it had lasted a tad bit longer without the toxicity!
6:16 in LA is my song 🎵 🎶☺️
Not Like Us , the reason that track is a problem is because it’s a mix between Dre Day and Hit Em Up. It’s as vicious as Tupac diss but it’s got the party going like Dre day.
Other words instead of crazy to explain Kendrick's behavior toward Drake: maniacal, diabolical, ferocious, destructive, contrived, etc. Hope this helps!✌🏾
At the end of Meet the Grahams Kendrick said Aubrey I didn’t mean to crash your Party at that moment I knew he won
Bo you're the first one who smoked Drake without the bars just the facts
Meet Them Grahams was a PSA. Tough love...not evil
My exact quote to my cousin when he told me not like us dropped "this guys a psyco"
This Kendrick vs Drake beef is Similar to the Boxing match with George Forman vs Muhammad Ali , Drake was the undefeated George Forman and Kendrick was Muhammad Ali,
Excellent observation bo.. KDOT is a alien & is far and away solidified himself as ITS JUST BIG ME !
first minute of this video I completely agree w already there’s no way you set all this up and have no proof of anything or don’t drop a counter song to meet the grahams
great job with the breakdown.. The summation of Not like us proving the whole point of every Dot critique
The breakdown is crazy love it good job ❤❤
Great commentary.
Great vid
Great analysis Bo

great breakdown man

It's wild how many sports channels are covering this!! I guess Scru Face Jean was right: Hip-hop is a sport!!
Helluva break down Bomani ✊🏾💯‼️
had the engineers looking like that meme of the popeyes lady on the bench
Bomani spittin’ fire 🔥
The problem with Drake and beating the pdf file allegations is that it's actually plausible because of his interactions with minors in the past. He might be innocent of all the charges but we just don't believe him.
🎶BBL DRIZZY!
UH!!!
BBL DRIZZAAAY WOOHOOHOO!! 🎶
Wooooh woh😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yo we need Bomani to breakdown each song on both sides. Enjoy ur perspective 🫡
God bless you for your insight.
Salute Bomani!
In 8 mile it’s the black guy with a huge following and has the “free world” label but he’s not actually from all the things in Detroit he raps about he goes to private school and “his parents have a nice marriage.” Eminem is a white guy sure but he’s from Detroit and in the end nobody cares so much about his flaws as they care about being misrepresented by someone who’s separating their art from their origin. Except in 8 mile the white guy is the one who’s culturally tapped in and the black guy is the one emulating the culture for hits and money. I keep hearing a lot of Drake fans talking about racism but it’s not even about race it’s about culture, and culture wise he’s not Eminem he’s Clarence.
Drake should of just became an actor like Will Smith.
He was he was In Degrassi 😂
Man let us somehow hear Rihanna flow on a diss.
There’s a rumor she’s on the next diss track if it comes out.
Man I miss seeing you with PAPI every afternoon on ESPN.
1:25 IMO, KDot saw the video, thats why he named the restaraunt in EPHORIA
I know he did he was mocking Drake when he said that crodie
yup absolutely. he knew everything lol
But Drake would have no reason to shoot the video at new ho king until kendrick said something about it...
@drewlavay maybe. I could be wrong. What came first, the video or the verse is my question.
@@Trandview the verse came out like 2 weeks before the video.
Anyone feedin someone fake information about bein a ped is a clown
💯 facts
Yes…..meet the grahams is insane!!!!
13:24 is my thought exactly and why I thibk Kendrick's approach is unique. Dot's diss felt like a play (theater) where he is exposing Drake to an audience... While in generally, other diss songs (including Drake's) usually goes laser focus on their target/s "Ay, F*ck you" "F*ck me? no, f*ck you!" mindlessly with almost same beats...
Kendrick considers the audience paying attention of the play, (even breaking that fourth wall "Say, OV-HOE" and "Step This Way", and masterfully tell the story using different styles for each part... Which is what he does in all his Albums
Bomani got BARS too 🔥🔥🔥
Bomani, followed you for over 13 years and appreciate your work. However, even though I'm neutral in this beef - despite being a Torontonian and living a twenty minute drive from "the Embassy" (i.e. Drake's home base) - the crazy thing is Drake is actually African-American! That's the crazy thing! This isn't like a Skepta, Stormzy or Dave (UK Hip-hop artists) that have an African origin but run the hip-hop scene in the UK, Drake's dad was from Memphis and Drake spent part of his childhood there. He is literally "just like you" in the way that any Canadian can be! In fact, a lot of the knock on him up here was that he succeeded, relative to other Canadians, *because* he was African-American and had African-American roots instead of being African-Canadian or Afro-Caribbean-Canadian. The thing is despite the entertainment factor, I can imagine how isolating this must be for Drake - for many he's "too "Canadian" to be American, and too "American" to be Canadian and that's before the racial element.
You bring up race when I don't think it's at the heart of the problem. Not like us in this instance refers to his pillaging of the culture. Using hip hop as a tool instead of an art. That is the main disconnect between Kendrick and Drake. Is it about the art or is it about fame?
Substitute Crazy for Diabolical
Mike from Sportscenter you and Toure again slime the streets need that
THE Sabbath is Saturday Bo
Big facts
He had to talk about Ross, Asap etc because he had nothing on Kendrick, only try to come at him about Whitney and Free

If you didn't know before you should know now...Compton, we are built different.
So drake jcole song came in Nov of 23. Since then drake dig pics came out, and Kendrick was one step ahead. What if there is no inside man, but Kendrick is crazy enough to actually hack drake crew. Kendrick hates him so much I believe he would. Please discuss much love.
drake was listening to bomani, thought he could win with a bunch of short ppl jokes, and got packed up
Bruh other than Weezy, i think Drake put more people on than the other way around including helping Kendrick. Most of these dudes most popular hits feature Drake. If the money's right, yes they will.
He used more people than he actually put on at the end of day.
@@kambuibomani231 it's entertainment. They all got paid to appear and they wouldn't have if they didn't want to. You telling me Jay-Z appeared on his album because he was manipulated? Most of the people he's appeared with don't have his commercial success. What are we talking about....
11:50 everybody forgot about humble
19:50 The Japanese fellas are pretty gentle. They tear Drake down, then offer him to come hide out there because only the underground is against him. The most indirect way to tell him his career is over.
BJ rocks the gospel
Messing with good people makes good people go to bat.🤷🏾♂️
My maybe corny take, some fans think that feuds in hip-hop enhance the genre/culture, but NO ONE EVER demonstrates how the rivalries elevate it to a more lyrically sophisticated mainstream. The only results are: nothing, a career ending, and rarely but disturbingly, deaths.
Naw, everyone just saw a masterclass of lyricism, flows, and overall song making within weeks. In NBA terms the Warriors started shooting threes at will and now the rest of the league is forced to shoot threes at the same clip to have chance. That’s the way I see it at least.
I can't tell you what I would do to beat THOSE allegations, but I can tell you what you shouldn't do. You definitely wouldn't say that you're too rich and famous to do it and you would have been caught by now. That line alone definitely swung public favor against him. It's so cliche you'd think that the mole is one of his ghostwriters.
The same people turning on is probably the same ones that turned on Tupac Nipsey and the other fallen greats. Jockstraps is what they are
All asap has do is post with riri and drake would lose his mind
it ain't a battle
that shit kendrick done just be straight up murder
And he made the bop at will just like MJ from deep. 🤷🏾♂️
Sounds good, I still can’t get through a full Kendrick album and Drake has 5 albums I love. Good shit Kendrick but give me one album I want to listen to from beginning to end. Like he said, I’m not like them. He won the battle for sure and Not Like Us style records I would love as a concept for an album.
Drake makes simple party music. Kendrick’s just not ur vibe, he’s still objectively a better rapper.
@@jasminewilliams1673 This could be true. I do like Kendrick but I value beat selection a lot, even at the cost of shallower music.
Drake sold all his USA homes 😂👀
3:45 I have felt the same way for quite some time as well. I appreciate someone else for saying it.
Lastly, u don't need to explain to ur white hoimes wus going on. 😏
Drake's dad follows Aya Tanjali (just turned 17🍼). She claims there is a case coming, possibly involving them both 💀
Say what you want Kendrick doesn’t have clout like that nor the hits. Drake can really go 5 hours in a stadium
Eli Manning beats Tom Brady 2 times, it doesn’t take away from Tom Brady, but when it mattered the most, Eli Manning won every time.
Kendrick is Jessie Owens Drake is mack Robinson lol look it up
Jackie's older brother? Molly told me about him
You might not find this funny, but I sure am tickled.. I clicked on this video because I thought you were the la crip bomani( I didn’t know that was a common name) that beefs with wack 100.. my first thought was, this is not what I pictured bomani looking like 😂😂😂
😂Bomani
Calm down bomani. There are know billionaire losers.Drake has haters breaking news so King James, Jordan, etc.
The funny thing is Drake's ancestry is black American and he spent his summers growing up in Memphis
He spent some summers growing up in Memphis. That’s hardly growing up in Memphis
He grew up in a predominately jewish community, he's on camera saying it
Boy only hung in Memphis a couple times growing up lol
The issue people are failing to understand is it's not as if Drake is "from" Memphis but to say he has no claim to African American culture because he's from Canada is like telling the kids of Jamaican immigrants in London or the kids of Nigerian immigrants in Washington, DC they cannot access or claim elements of their parents cultures lol
Drake out of his own mouth. Said he grew up Jewish. You are a boy account. He did not spend time in Memphis liar.
I'm peeved at these weak mc's

lol man the second espn people are reaching for views and talking about hip hop ( for the first time and perpetuating negative ish)- that is when I bow out and gotta listen to some other music now haha
You know how when certain folks learn a a cool slang word and exhaust it and you’re like dang- now I can’t say that anymore haha
This is all a social media set-up. And we are taking the bait. Drake and Kendrick are both in on this for sales
Sales of what exactly? These songs are available, everywhere, for free. And why do you think these guys need to boost sales?
Makes sense, hence why Kendrick waived all infringement claims and doesn’t do anything on social media 😂
Family Matters is the best track from each side
“Not Like Us” go way Harder than Family Matters, and it got way more views than Family Matters

@@pkeys11 cap. His channel doesn’t show the proof
Hip hop and sports are intertwined more than any other genre. You clearly don’t listen to Bo often, go look up his coverage of Scarface’s tiny desk.
Love u Bo, but Drake dad is black, he's black. That kenny line of thought and ricky callin him whiteboy is weak to me. Respectfully
Kendrick's assessment of Drake as white has to do with his demeanor. This is clear from the fact that he refers to Drake's son, who has a white mom, as a black man.
Sooo, its disingenuous?
They calling him out because he moves like this. J. Cole is biracial too. No one ever says this about him because he never disparages his black side. Drake never makes fun of gas chambers but I’ve heard him make puns about slavery and he even said American slavery in one song “slime you out.” If you can’t understand that this is problematic please do some research. #notlikeus
@@ecoll8950 i comprehend well sir, im just pointing out a fact, not a perspective. His dad is black, so he is black. This not black narrative is false, weak, and hypricritical!
@@lowpro131 it’s obvious he’s not fully white. No one is truly arguing that he’s not half black. Further let’s me know you don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m not even going to give you the codes on the World Wide Web because Drake and people like you are the reason we in this mess. The visitors can’t even understand nuances because you don’t live it and neither does Drake.
It's like the Twilight Zone here What on Earth is Bomani talking about? Drake is the biggest male artist Musically on the Planet there is a reason why he won Artist of the Decade. NO ONE PROP UP DRAKE but DRAKE and his UNICORN talents since he can Rap & Sing, I find it quite disturbing that Bomani wouldn't dare say something negative about Taylor Swift but he sure has time for the Brotha. Also, Drake has DUAL CITIZENSHIP he is American and Canadian due to his father being American. I failed to find what HE IS NOT ONE OF US means( it comes off very XENOPHOBIA but it doesn't explain why The likes of a 21 Savage & legendary head in Slick Rick who are both from London England somehow didn't get that energy it just makes you wonder. Rihanna is also from the Caribbean and wasn't born here the bottom line is MUSIC IS UNIVERSAL.
BTW.. Drake is the one who brought Kendrick Lamar on TOUR and this is how he gets paid in return. Drake has been on the THRONE for over a DECADE now and these Little UNGRATEFUL MINIONS who he has done WONDERS for their CAREER can't deal with his Position in the GAME.
