  • The Supreme Court heard oral arguments in a case involving mifepristone, a commonly used abortion pill, and the Food and Drug Administration's actions in recent years to make the medication more accessible. The high court is reviewing a federal appeals court's ruling that said the FDA's actions were unlawful.

    Why does the Supreme Court keep taking cases where there are no damages? How does it make sense legislating based on hypothetical plaintiffs?

    I want to see if SCOTUS doesn’t want the FDA to decide which drugs should be dispensed. If the FDA can’t allow drugs to be dispensed, the Supreme Court shouldn’t make laws.

    This is so freaking surreal. The drug is designed to cause an adverse event and the core argument is that studies show no adverse events. If that was true the drug would not be working.😂😂😂

    • @huffhouse2
      @huffhouse2 Před 2 měsíci

      “An adverse event is any undesirable experience associated with the use of a medical product in a patient.” The drug does what people want it to do. It works. The abortion is not an adverse event; it means the drug works safely the way it is supposed to.

      @@huffhouse2 Hahaha. I am pretty sure the fetus is experiencing a pretty "adverse" freaking event. Also abortion is so much of an adverse event that the classic Hippocratic Oath includes the following promise, "I will give no sort of medicine to any pregnant woman, with a view to destroy the child."

      @@huffhouse2 Sorry but the fetus is experiencing a pretty "adverse event". The event is so adverse, that the original Hippocratic Oath (5th century BC to 1964AD) had doctors make the following promise "I will give no sort of medicine to any pregnant woman, with a view to destroy the child."

    The USA and this dumb abortion issue. I am male- had a vasectomy 30 years ago. So I am old. I am not from USA. I am of the opinion that all American males should have a vasectomy. That would solve this issue once and for all- and I wouldn’t have to listen to the mindless rants from all sides. Also the prophecy of the movie - Idiocracy could be reversed as currently it is spot on.

      Calm down, Sparky, a woman taking a morning after pill isn't anywhere near an abortion, lol. If you backwoods folks spent less time chopping wood and whittling sticks and more time reading books and listening to experts maybe you'd have known that before the age of 45.
