@Trevon Womack That really doesn't make any sense, as even the earliest forms of rock-n-roll came from African american gospel, which was a conglomeration of Black traditional rhythms combined with European chord structures , and american mountain music from the very early years. In itself it is a combination of many other forms, NOT inherently an African tradition or a white tradition ,but like all music before it, a combination of new things to reflect the emotions and feelings of the people creating it ..There is NO music in existence which belongs to any one culture. we grow, we create we make music uniquely ours, but no one culture owns any of it outright . it simply builds on what came before it from other sources. .
