She is the most powerful character in the Vampire Diaries universe. She has all of the physical attributes of an original, insane amount of magical power, along with the werewolf abilities. If the show kept going on and she gained experience she would be literally unbeatable.
It’s CRAZY! Does she age or is she immortal as well? I haven’t seen anyone touch on that yet. I might have to find that out on my own as I watch.
@@gina_geek spoilers obvs. she ages regularly and is essentially a dormant vampire until she dies. When she dies she becomes immortal and her vampire abilities are triggered. This happens in a different show (legacies) which is essentially a continuation of both tvd and to following the kids of Caroline (Josie/Lizzie) and klaus (Hope)

@@gina_geek no problem, also after finishing your reaction I’d just like to add: Esther wasn’t the first witch, we’ve never met the first witch. But we know witches are at least 2000 years old due to qetsiyah and Silas (the first immortal) from TVD, who were witches. Esther being called the original witch just means witch of the original family.
Thought I’d just mention it as I don’t want you to get confused in The Originals

@@gina_geek her nickname is "The Original Witch" but that's because she created the Original vampires. There are older witches than her like Qetsiyah (the creator of the Other Side and the vampire cure)
