Hello, I went in for my first ultrasound today, I was told I am 7 weeks 1 day. They said there’s a sac and embryo there, and said she seen a flicker, but no confirmed heartbeat. I was told I need to come back in another two weeks. I am very worried now, or is this normal is some cases? This is my first pregnancy so I don’t know much.

The baby still had a heartbeat . They are calling it a threatened miscarry. At this time I’m just praying . God is in control . And I’ll accept whatever comes my way. I’m praying hard though ❤️

@@manojluckygandla Even i don't know the reason it was my first pregnancy and i wasn't aware that i was pregnant. A day before miscarriage i was traveling with my hubby and i had fish at dinner...may be it could be the reason..now i'm trying to get pregnant again

@@PR-kp5lg I do not know what is the case of your pregnancy but I’m just telling you that heartbeat develops around 6-9weeks during pregnancy. Usually if doctors cannot see heartbeat they repeat the scan around 9 weeks to make sure. You can always repeat the scan after 2 weeks to be sure.
I had my first early pregnancy scan and was told I was 5 w 2 days and then, 2 weeks had my hospital first abdominal scan (as they already thought I was 12 weeks based on my last period). Anyway the result said that I was 6 w 5days with CRL 8.8mm 38% next to it, is this the normal CRL size with this gestation age and what does the 38% means? Would greatly appreciate if you could answer me thanks!!
Hi, sorry but I have no experience on reading utz result. I only know what CRL mean which is Crown Rump Length. From what I read it’s normal but please do ask your OB.
6 week pregnancy but abdominal ultrasound show only gestational sac my radiologist say that after 15 days come to next ultrasound..please pray for my baby😔
Do talk to your OB about that as I am not a Doctor. If you are worried you can request for a repeat utz after a week or so, the heart rate should increase by then.
Usually heartbeat develops around 6weeks to 9weeks. Some people wait until 12 weeks as there are fetus that develops heartbeat quite late. If the baby doesn’t develop a Heartbeat after the first trimester then it’s not a viable pregnancy.
In early pregnancy (1st trimester/1week to 13 weeks) the size can increase to a certain size but will eventually stop growing when heartbeat doesn’t develop. Repeat ultrasound are done to make sure there’s a heartbeat or none.

Hello, babies heartbeat develops between 6-10weeks, it might be too early for the other one and haven’t develop heartbeat yet. Perhaps you can repeat the ultrasound after 2-3 weeks to make sure that the other twin is not a viable pregnancy. If the other twin doesn’t develop heartbeat (vanishing twin syndrome) the other twin will still be able to grow/develop as a single pregnancy. The other twin will be naturally absorbed by your body.
Heartbeat can develop around 6 1/2 - 9 weeks. Usually they will do a repeat utz two weeks after to make sure. Do not stress as this will not help your pregnancy. Praying for your safe pregnancy.
