Chery Omoda 5 has very good road presence. Always notice this car on the road due to its impressive large grille. From the back also looks impressive, tall broad with good tail lights. Owner drive very slowly with this car maybe enjoying the comfortable interior settings. Proton X50 compare to this car, X50 looks tiny. Never get to drive this Omoda before, however, from this video, it got the oomph despite a CVT gearbox. Prolong high speed use of CVT might cause rapid wear and tear on the gear mechanism.

想补充，体形大的人坐在后排，会很窄、反而X50感觉会比交宽.不好意思，我体验过这两款车，都是个人感觉

其实我很早就想说 你拍车是很好 但是一直闪来闪去 一下黑一下出来 看起来真的很不舒服 如果是 没有那个黑的地方 一闪一下也是看到他还不错 只要不要有黑的 画面 就好了😂😂😂 因为有时 看了 智会想要打快 一点点😂😂😂

9/2/24 Chery Australia has recalled 5901 examples of its Omoda 5, after discovering a defect which can result in brake failure for the small SUV.
The recall affects all Chery Omoda 5s sold in Australia since local deliveries began in mid-2023.
“Due to a manufacturing defect, the bolt securing the brake pipe union may not have been tightened sufficiently. This could cause the brake fluid to leak and result in reduced braking performance,” Chery said in its recall notice.
“A reduction in braking performance could increase the risk of an accident resulting in serious injury or death to the vehicle occupants, pedestrians and other road users.”
