I heard a priest say that our blessed mother did not experience his physical pain. He does not understand because he’s never been a mother. We are capable of feeling everything our children endure in our bodies and souls. 💔
Hello Barbra, possibly the priest meant what I heard on a meditation once concerning Mary's sorrows. The meditation said Mary was pierced, not wounded. A wound happens when a person refuses the harm, but Mary accepted all. Also wounds can be an entry for the enemy ( as far as I understand from Fr. Ripperger) and Mary could not have this kind of wound (I am concluding). She "let it be done" and didn't refuse the sacrifice. It's tricky to explain, but I hope the priest said something to that effect instead of saying she didn't have physical pain I agree that would be I correct. These sorrows are healing to meditate on. I am happy others share this devotion!✝️

I've never been able to relate to Mary but I have lost two adult children I all ways thought why couldn't do more for her son how could she how could she have stopped his death cruel world then cruel world now there is nothing more brutal than the pain of a mother loosing a child
