    I'll never understand why an almost 2 Grand Guitar doesn't come with a Hardcase!
    Fender Tweed Cases are roughly 100-120 Quid, that Deluxe Soft Case is around 60-80 Quid.
    So Fender could easily include a Hardcase with these, they could just add 50 Quid to the price and it would make more sense.

      @chrisofnottingham Před 4 lety +9

      Seeing as it is Fender, what ever the question is, the answer is 'to save money'. However, plenty of people do end up with 4 or 5 hard cases, keep the guitars on stands and only ever use case at a time.

    • @nickhalewijn5668
      @nickhalewijn5668 Před 4 lety +5

    • @marfg12345
      @marfg12345 Před 4 lety +2

      @@nickhalewijn5668 The new padded leather Gibson gig bags are pretty good, almost as good as hard shell cases as far as protection goes. You can't beat a good hard case, though. Luckily I don't transport my guitar that often so the padded bags are more than good enough for me.
      Regular nylon gig bags are more or less useless.

      @@chrisofnottingham save money how? the price for these vs labor and materials is ridiculous. you're paying for the name. what, you think a guy who has been making guitars in the USA for 20 years is better at his job than a guy in Korea or even China for 20 years? That's naive. The technology of a guitar is simple and hasn't changed nearly at all over the last 70+ years.

    I have one of the Teles. It’s an odd guitar, doesn’t sound anywhere near as good plugged in as my Maton and I find the electric sound a bit thin but it just feels so nice to play. Light, comfortable and the neck is lovely. One thing is that it is super amp picky. Through my AER it sounds gorgeous but through my teacher’s Roland AC33 it’s very disappointing.
    I think people saying just buy an electric and an acoustic instead are missing the point. Most people who buy these already have 5+ guitars and just want something different.

    I had just watched Paul Davids' video of these guitars. He got a black one. He also made an amazing loop with it. So, I was hoping that Pete we would get to see Pete with one of these soon. I was not disappointed. The thing I noticed about Paul's video and this one is that everyone playing them has the largest grins on their faces. The guitar might not be perfect, but everyone that I've seen playing them seems to find something that makes them smile when playing it.

    Pete,
    I built an Acoustisonic Tele last spring. Put a Pizo pickup under the acoustic bridge with an acoustic pre-amp hiding inside the body. The electric pickup is a Seymour Duncan Little 59, a push-pull tone knob that can split the mini humbucker to a single coil. It has a 3 way switch to select either or both pickups, a Vol & Tone knob. I run #10 electric strings.
    I took it to a music store here in Canada, & compared it with the Fender American Acoustasonic Telecaster they had in stock. I was very pleased with the way it turned out. Only 1 acoustic soun, which I set the pre-amp EQ to sound like a dreadnought.
    And I have a Tone knob!

    I bought one of these from Andertons and arrived last week, I have a few guitars Blueridge acoustic and custom tele electric being the main goto ones, my main reason for buying was the versatility and to have a guitar that can travel with me, a companion, easy to pick up and inspirational, out of the box the play-ability and build quality is fabulous, and recording delivers stunning results, so a great addition and rather than replace the others it carves out a new space.

    I like these and if I Could afford it id buy, but wondering how music man does the piezo could they do something like that to where you could still get the acoustic sounds but switch back into an actual electric guitar sound, i saw a review that says the pickup in this guitar works but it sounds like a guitar strung with acoustic strings. IDK if that made sense on here and i guess can't word it properly.

    These are incredible. I currently play a BMG Rhapsody - our duo uses acoustic instruments but played loud and fast in an electric style, so the Rhapsody is perfect because it's the closest thing you could get to an electric whilst still being acoustic... at least I thought it was until I saw this. I beef it up by putting it through a Boss AC10, but with the Acoustasonic it's all built-in. Very impressive.

    Seem like the mids have been scooped on the electric side. Like a John Mayer strat. Pretty nice.

    Hi Lee and gang! Another great video. I'd love to see a shootout between a stock PRS SE Custom 24 and one upgraded with a MannMade 2000NOS Vibrato Bridge and another upgraded with a Wudtone PRS DD Tremolo. Perhaps also locking tuners and a bone nut upgrade too.
