Tawanchai was adapting the whole time, Kiria was not. Unyielding commitment to the game plan ie checking kicks to get close made him susceptible to being conditioned to be predictable. It was only a matter of time. His corner should’ve changed it up, maybe feints or angle of attack, like Tawanchais left. Saw it a few times, Tawanchai kicks with so much force that the few times he did miss it actually carried him forward & added recovery time, which left him open.
But it’s so hard to fight against Tawanchai, his balance is almost perfect & the force multiplier is the ground, and he knows it. But even though it’s for just a moment, his aggression does off balance his connection to the ground, that’s when to attack.
I don’t think the outcome of this match was as much to do with skill as it did with approach.

but muay thai is only really beaten by wrestling, or boxing. karate can do it but im not sure about in this format of fight.

I think almost everyone saw this coming by the 2nd round. He took so many kicks on that arm, I was saying he's going to break it.
And how are these two in the same weight class? Tawanchai looked two weight classes bigger in there.
When it comes to rules there are rule for Thais and rules for Non Thais. Work that out.

That's the PK gym owner, well known in Thailand MT world by the name "Sia Kaek" (เสี่ยแขก)
That's what you get by defending round house kicks with the forearms. Muay thai kicks are defended with the shin for a reason and the reason is that it hurts the kicker more when his kick connects to the shin.
The kick was at bicep height. How do you propose to check that with a shin?
Block with 2 arms. 1 arm elbow block 1 arm catching. But it's better to just Dodge it all together. Neger block with just fore arms
Kiria didn't wrong. That kick just too powerful so, you can do the same thing with Kiria when you got kick if your opponent doesn't kick hard like this guy.
