@@jong9541 A great number of pop songs have repetition throughout as this song does. Some of the best selling hits of all time consist of a handful of chords that repeat for 2-4 minutes. The bridge (change at 3:00) is a common element of a song, allowing for an opportunity to change things up whether it be emotion, message, or just to shake up repetition and serve as a transition to the next part of the song. A perfect example of how repetition is common can be readily heard in the current number one hit on Billboard - Paint the Town Red, by Doja Cat. The entire song - all four minutes and fifty five seconds - is anchored around two chords that repeat without deviation for the entire song. Certainly repetition is okay for more than a few listeners :-)

Wow!! Powerful imagery here. I loved the imaged of various people walking alone (at the beginning) when you sing, "What is it like to be lone" and then the image of the homeless person when you sing, "what is it like to live without a home?" I'm not typing out the rest of the song but this feed does a good job of matching up lyrics and images. Great work! Love the image of the couple connecting and then dancing together...almost in a world of sepia. Well choreographed. This is my second fav song from the album so glad this feed is so good :)

Huge Beatle fan but Photograph CD was incredible. Your Pater was also incredibly talented but you are much more aware and spiritual of a person than he was. He talked about pain a lot but I believe you went through just as much, just in a different way. Fame is not as important to you. Bottom line is that your over-all value as a person is just as high as his and higher in some regards. I believe God will see you as a greater success in life. He was controlled, otherwise, I think he would have done much more for you. Your mother, well you could not have had a better one! You were a great son to her and that meant so much to her! My first love was the Beatles. I am now 70yrs old. I remember the day John Lennon was killed,I was putting up my Christmas tree, I just fell to my knees and asked why. Julian is a wonderful, his lyrics in this song are so amazing. I can't imagine what he went through when his father died. I know his mother was a incredible woman. I like the whole "ballet-sequence-in-a-cheap-apartment, brought to you by Ann-Taylor" visual motif, honestly. It moves the aesthetic into an informal, accessible place where dance feels like a legitimate outgrowth of the expression of human love. It was simple and effective.
As for the music, Julian's sincerity and radiant positivity once again shine poignant rays over some shadowed moments for me, so I'll take the beauty where it's offered. Another enchantingly lovely melody with imagery of hope and humanity, Julian's remained consistent over all these years.
