She is such a sweet person and how the CEO's heart can't go out to her is a wonder. Perhaps he fights against his own feelings to prove his strength to himself. But then sooner than later he gives in to his inherent good nature.
Love to watch this touching scene when LeeZM affectionately caress Tongtongs hand remembering how he never had that love from his own father!
Having a child was a wonderful experience for LeeZM. He learned from Wu Tong the care and tenderness of parenthood.

I love this show, I watch it over and over,good drama show.
Wu Tong was unable to climb upstairs in her broken ankle. Then LeeZM carried her along upstairs. They got close and Wu Tong was attracted by his good looking face. She was unable to hide from this adorable man she had loved for 5 years.
It’s a reawakening of Wu Tong’s deep love for LeeZM which she has kept to her heart for the past 5 years. That love that is almost divine such as her maternal love towards Wu Tong is a reflection of how a mother gives all to her child, forgetting her own sorrow and pain just to be able to give a day to day life, hope, and affection to her son.
How fierce a father who readily become one! The mother responsibly gave birth and rear him healthily in love and wonderful spirit! Ungrateful to the woman! You love a child when you love his mother!❤️
OMG 😲 so true Tess, so true. I love that Wutong did not speak negatively about Lee Zhongmou in anyway but gave Tongtong a good impression of his father. I wish Lee Zhongmou could see how much of good mother Wutong was but Lee was too busy trying to please his hateful, cruel mother.
Tongtong as a child is so innocent to ask her mother to move in where he lives. My gosh my heart is melting because I 'm a mother too.

Lee Zhongmou is use to throwing his money 💰 around buying people etc.. in this case he thought Wutong would take the money because she is poor and struggling. What Lee didn't understand is that Wutong made a choice to have Tongtong even against her parents wishes because she loved her child above all else and she couldn't be bought. Lee Zhongmou never had and wasn't shown that kind of love with his mother so he didn't understand it.

He had a stand over approach to Wu Tong, she had never seen this behaviour before. She was bullied and intimidated, she had a timid personality. Glad she slapped his face at least twice in the series and stood up to him a few times. Eventually he softened and fell in love with her. He had pressures instilled in him by his bitter, domineering, snobby mother. Glad he stood up to her sometimes. A very jealous man. She copped a lot of flack from him, yet she had every right to dish it out to him regarding Mandi but she didn't.
The ending brought the family together... because of Wu Tong.

By this point of time, he just wanted to conquer her and seize the child custody. Paying her come over to comfort the child would be something liked hiring a babysitter.

You said Tongtong will Understand when he grows up. I disagree. Not if you totally strip Tongtong from his mother and barred him from seeing her. A child's development is critical @ this stage of life. He will remember this and Harbour I'll feelings for dad and especially the mean grandmother. You just cannot strip a child of everything he's known, not to mention the attachment he has to Wutong in a way that he doesn't have with anyone else. Li could have approached this completely different, once he learn Tongtong was his son he could have hire a professional therapist, he and mom attend sessions together and individually and then slowly transition being in his son's life. Instead he listens to his mother who clearly lacked in emotional and psychological stability and lacks in parenting skills herself, hires an attorney, seeks custody, stripped Tongtong away from his mother abruptly and then threaten her that she will not see him again. Completely wrong but more importantly emotionally and psychologically devastating to Tongtong.
