Roman Polankik gracias for posting this video of Andrea's concert at the Bar Colombia during the Sant Andreu Jazz Festival in September. If you remember I was the guy often sitting next to you while you were filming and recording during the workshops and concerts. We shook hands and tried to communicate every morning even though the language barrier made it difficult. I hope you are going to post the other concerts including the concerts by the young bands, specially the music during the dance session the last afternoon. The concert itself on a lovely warm September afternoon was great, relaxed, fun and very good jazz. Andrea lives in a flat above the Bar Columbia and she and Joan Marti play the opening song from her balcony. Her family lives just across the street. The Columbia bar is unpretentious but friendly and has great atmosphere with photos of jazz musicians and a great stock of beer upstairs. I've been there quite a few times, it's our meeting place when I buy CDs/DVDs from Andrea's father Ramon.

Wow, that was such a joy! The Trombonist has an incredible voice and of course plays very well. The saxophonist seems to be able to capture the essence of everything. Great musicians and a joy to listen to. Thank you for sharing this. Awesome!

I have watched so many of these Joan Chamorro videos, but this one has got to be my favorite! All the spontaneity, the interplay with the audience, the walk up participants were fantastic! And anytime you can see Andrea AND Alba together.....well that's as good as it gets.
