Aside from being an actor, Zaffari performs as a voice over artist and interpreter. Fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish, Zaffari landed his first voice over role with Allá Te Espero, a Colombian Telenovela, in 2015. His other television voice-over credits include, recurring and guest starring roles on Piel Salvaje and Voltea Pa'Que Te Enamores.
In 2015, Zaffari landed the role of ‘Victor' in the independent film Eva’s Pocket Watch, a short film presented at M.A.C Film Festival. Also in 2015, Zaffari completed filming the short film 60 Eight, playing the role of ‘John'. The film premiered at Cannes Festival Short Film Corner in May 2016. In 2016, Zaffari also starred as ‘ Simon' in the independent film Locked.
Zaffari’s upcoming film roles include ‘Felipe' in the independent film, Ódio, which will premiere August 2016 in Brazil. He will also been seen in the short film Bloggers, slated for this year.
Zaffari is currently dubbing the new telenovela Somos Familia, as ‘Pedro’, and Célia as ‘Marcos’.
He continues his drama studies with Brian Reise Studios and with the famed improv group and school, The Groundlings in Los Angeles.

As a Brazilian aspiring actor too (not a professional like you, just amateur drama clubs) your advises have been very useful to me! Obrigado Lucas!
CZcams has saved alot of lives . No one would know these people.
I'm an actor and dialect coach in LA and I agree with everything you say, Lucas. It IS a marathon....most definitely! So pace yourself have a big picture perspective about this industry. I work with many non-American actors, teaching them the business of Hollywood as well as the American dialect and it's important to understand that you need to build relationships with not only casting people, but coaches, other actors, directors and others and also must not show yourself to professional casting people until you are really ready because this is a small town and they will remember if you go into an office "too green." BTW, Brian Reise is a dear old friend! I also wanted to give you kudos on your American dialect. I can only hear your Brazilian accent a tiny bit, which will help you in booking both American and Latin-type roles!
Thanks for sharing FC, and thanks to Lucas for spreading the message.
this is so helpful. i needed this. thank you

Thanks bro very helpful
Great advice man !!
Alot of great tips!! ✌
Don't forget the fundamentals...... get an education/theatre/acting degree..... performing arts....... build your resume....... document the work you do....... establish a social media presence...... make "auditions" your full time job....... always network with people in the industry......get good professional headshots..... research your agent....... never give up......
Common Sense but if you make auditions you’re full time job how do you earn money?
get all the experience and training outside LA, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas have good theater and film work going on, great place to start and build your resume, best tactic is get noticed before you go to LA, then launch from there
This is helpful!!!
Wow good on you man. I’m going to USC for film school next year so this is really interesting
MariNate how’s your journey to USC going? Any updates?
Thanks
This a great video. I wish you the best.

get lots of training and experience before you to to LA, stage experience is really vital

Thank you, thank you so much, but 1 question what about acting classes or courses?
How were u able to live and work in the USA? I’m wondering because I am from Canada wanting to move to la but don’t you need visas or something?
ótimas dicas lucas, tu não teve problemas com a questao do visto?
I’m 12 and I am passionate and I am saving up for when the times right to go
Saving is up is good, but do as much as possible in your local market as well.
Good luck
Someone lol stop. Do NOT move to LA. Take great acting lessons. Be a part of tons of theater productions. And finally apply for drama school. Then think about becoming an actor.
same dude same
Someone this is cool I’ve never seen someone say this at such a young age I hope u know that I am too n by me telling u we will together Pce
This is a really good channel
tks for your tips. escrevi muitas squetes no Brasil para fazer curtas caseiros e ctiar materiais... oque acha disso?
Good video.
Lucas is still working a lot, but it seems he might be back in Brazil, as most of the work he has been doing is being produced there. Or does he still keep a place in LA?
At any rate, great to see him still in the race and succeeding.
Hi, I would like to ask you a few questions, in your opinion if I move to the united states with a j1 au pair visa, then I can find an agent to represent me and change my visa to an artistic one. do you think it can be done? what visa did you come to the united states with?
Thank you
Hey Lucas,
Thank you so much for this content. Do you have any tips how to come to Los Angeles if you´re not an American citizen? I really wanna start acting in LA but i don´t know how to get permission to it. I have studied Sports and Economics in Germany. So how exactly can I get the permission to come(for example greencard). And how did all the famous actors move from canada to Los Angeles or London to Los Angeles? It´s not that easy, isn´t it?
Looking forward to your answer :)
Also wondering the same thing as a Canadian
For someone who isn't far into their journey, your best bet would be an employment visa of sorts. There is a variety of these available, all with different stipulations, and they all depend on someone wanting to hire you in the U.S. It's not easy, but that might just be your best bet outside of marriage. As for the other example you've mentioned (London to L.A., for instance), the answer in about 99% of those cases is the O-1 visa - a visa for people of extraordinary talent or ability. Here in the U.S., people who will give our economy the greatest boost have a higher chance of immigrating. Not saying that's always fair, but that's the idea behind the O-1. Look into these some if you're still interested (I'm aware this is a necro, but I thought it was unfortunate no one was giving you any information).
Best of luck.
I a. m 16 & inspired about
next 20's I will be in###
You posted this in 2016. R u still going?
How did you get the visa to work bro
chica vam vam vam chica chica vampiro
So how did you move from Brazil legally to Hollywood
My problem is completely different I'm a Director and Writer constantly looking for a crew and of course budget willing to work for free to build their resume in exchange those who have great acting chops I'll try to always feature them in my film's
Check out the video we publish tonight at 5pm PST.
Is this the same guy that played marcos in the celia novela?
miguel disla yes
@@bg137 no it's not him lol he has the same name as him tho!that actor is Colombian
As a foreigner in LA are immigration and visa rules making it hard for you to work freely? Ex( being rejected in an audition because you don t have the right visa). How do you deal with it. I ll be thankful if you share experience with visas. Especially after Trump came to the show.
acting is like singing ? you either can or you cant. actors from james dean to micheal caine went to acting school, not to learn how to act, they could already do that, but to get noticed, spotted by producers or agents.
I’m Brazilian aswell 🤘🏼
to old to take up acting ?? wicki BUSTER MERRYFIELD, english actor, took up acting at 57, now known around the world.
Funny that nobody talks about Hollywood moving to England I think it's only because they want to get the land as cheap as possible
don't sell ur soul
Don't be an Actor! Best advice if you want to live...
Trevor K why??
