Well people dont hate the colour of someones skin. It is more the we against them feeling and the skin colour happens to be a very easy feature to seperate them. Disgraceful behavior from the Montenegro fans. Very dreadful to hear, but the boys handled it well. Barkley needs to build on that form and step up his Chelsea performances because he's flattened to deceive in a Chelsea shirt. I can sympathize though. He's probably more of a 10 than an 8 that Sarri's playing him as.
Yes, it's ridiculous that Hudson-Odoi hasn't started more for Chelsea. Sarri really needs to be more open-minded. Just because Pedro and Willian are seasoned veterans does not necessarily mean they'll be more productive than a hot prospect like CHO. I can see where he's coming from, though. Usually, a seasoned pro has had bags of years honing their productivity. I get that but the thing is, they've never been the most productive and are two of the most hot-and-cold players around. Odoi should be starting ahead of them and if they don't like that and think they're bigger than the club by crying to the board that a young player with a higher ceiling than them is starting ahead of them, Sarri should tell the board to either back them or back him, in my opinion.
Giroud, what a player. Always underrated. I don't get why we sold him especially just to replace him with another ageing player nearing 30 on big wages. Now, if we had bought a young player like a Timo Werner to replace him and provide competition to Lacazette, I could understand the sale. As it stands, we just messed up our wage-structure for no reason.
