Actually, this black diablos mod is the one that looks the best. The final vaal hazak mod is ugly af, and all of your CBs will look like the vaal hazak cb just like all the bows. RIP rarity 10 elemental weapons they all have the vaal hazak as the final mod.

I love how this game encourages any kind of playstyle, from nice CC casual hunts to hardcore AI manipulated speedruns. That being said, it's a shame that THE most optimal mods or sets all look the same, especially because of the Augments. Game still gonna be hella dope, can't wait for the PC version to get some mods to the weapons.
Just use the zinogre hbg or elemental bows and you'll reduce your times to under 10 mind or even 5mins if you're already good with bows or have the right decos for the meta builds

Bludgeoner is very deceptive in its description, the reality is that each tier of sharpness will have a higher maximum damage number possible (so say you could deal 100 damage on white sharpness and 60 on blue sharpness at best with a weapon; bludgeoner simply increases the highest damage possible for that sharpness tier, so perhaps instead of 100 on white perhaps it'll be 120 on white and 100 on blue) it's not like heroics where the effect gradually becomes stronger as x statistic decreases. Knowing that, losing your charm to just have non-elemental boost while is nice for the increased raw, is rather diminishing on returns seeing as you could perhaps instead slot in an elementless jewel (which you get tons of in master rank and if you do "the name's lavasioth" quest) and use an agitator charm instead of adamantine and end up with a much higher "potential raw dmg"

He only uses MM cuz it's part of the set. Both skills aren't CB meta by any means atm. MM is only great for CB if you're using the (Acid)Glavenus Set bonus which gives it its old effect back at lvl 5. But you're going to sacrifice alot other stuff so i don't think it's worth it in the end. Peak is ok with Health Aug. but there are alot skills that are more important so rn it's rather niche for CB.

I’m not gonna lie though, peak is actually pretty good for cb since you’re gonna be guard pointing a lot, and the health augment often is enough to restore the tiny amount of health you’d lose from particularly strong attacks with just one charged slash.
Some monsters just have a lot of health, Namielle is another one which is tricky since the hitzones changes and can make the run much longer if you screw up too much.
It’s a common occurrence in iceborne where a monster terraforms the area you’re fighting it in and then uses that terraform to its advantage. An example like the comment above, Namielle. Her fight can be quick if you have the deco that lets you walk through water, or it can be a pain in the ass with her constantly puddling up the ground making you slip around. Then her lightning attacks become AOE attacks because of her puddles. Other monastery do similar stuff. That added variable makes fights harder but condition you into making monster oriented builds instead of a standard full dps build

I got used to 7 minute hunts on these kinds of monsters in high rank. Now that theyre taking 15-25 minutes its kind of hard to keep playing lol

Augmenting for only element up with that Namielle set bonus could get that ice attack up to over 1000, INSANE.

Tremor resist, Earplugs and no flinching it risky but you don't get your SAED cancelled like a temporal mantle
