It really was. I am constantly trying to remember band names from then. I can remember certain songs but can’t remember the band. It’s very frustrating.
These guys played cause they loved the music I used to see these guys and all shall perish, born of Osiris, rose funeral and countless others when like mabey 15 people would come to a show
@@Milokitty-en5nbelysia, animosity, underneath the gun, eternal lord, knights of the abyss, through the eyes of a traitor, the list could keep going :p
Same with me, same age. Seen them with Despised Icon & Pysopus in New Orleans (2005)... Was so happy getting out of school on Friday & the show was the next day. We smoked a fuckton and it blew my mind, Esp the double bass on the breakdown
Dude this guy is insane! What happened to him? His screams are incredible. I would give anything to see the original lineup with this frontman. Where did you see them?
@Jesse Pinkman Anthony Gunnels was featured on one of the songs for TTEOTD's most recent album, its called "Obitual." Also, according to metallum, he's been arrested plenty of times and isn't present in the scene as much
I’m 35 and my buddy put this song on a few weeks while we were drinking some beers and I immediately felt like I was 20 again. I haven’t heard this in YEARS and it is SO MUCH HEAVIER than most music nowadays
I was introduced to this song by a G.I. friend while doing my military service in Korea back in 2006. This song and album 'Bloodlust' will forever be my favorite.
TTEOTD was the band my friend and eventual lead guitarist in highschool showed me as the template for what he wanted to do musically. This song put me down a decade of playing extreme metal and I'll forever be grateful to this band.
If it wasn’t for the Sounds of the Underground in Phoenix, I would of never been introduced to bands like As I lay Dying, Shadows Falls, In Flames, Trivium and the GREAT Black Dahlia Murder! Best concert I have ever been too!!
This song is about to turn twenty in 4 months and i have been listening to it since 2005 when it was released and it still hits as hard as it did back then
With Anthony Gunnels this is 1 of my fav bands, seen em live with Despised icon and Chimaira, Red cord and The end. Funny Anthony is wearing a Despised icon shirt.
I remember when I heard the double kick going fast to slow and almost died. I never knew it could be played like that. One of my all time favorite bands. TTEOTD shall be listened to by me, for life.
Ok so 29 here, and ive had this song stuck in my head for 10 years. couldnt remember the band name. finally did and god damn is it just hard af. seen them at Tremont music hall and it was epic....live on plz
This song and album has stood the test of time such a good band. Saw them with bury your Dead in Savannah Georgia at aura fest. Drove all the way from Alabama and it was worth every drop of gas 🤘🏽
i miss this tteotd. the newer albums just arent the same. i cant get over how much i love anthony gunnells vocals. so epic. it almost sounds like he has a distortion pedal hooked up to his mic.
If TTEOTD would have kept Anthony, I believe they would be up there with Suicide Silence or Whitechapel in terms of popularity. Cause his vocals are so unique and you don’t hear them in any other deathcore band. The newer vocalists are good, just a little too typical cookie monster death growls for my taste.

Ive been on a kick with these guys again this was the only album of theirs ive ever owned now i get to discover the whole discography and FUCK did they evolve well as a band !!! 🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟
Kids today just don't understand how fucking great the myspace era of deathcore was

I’m 31 now... and I just randomly thought about this song and how I used to listen to it on my iPod when I was 16.
It is still so good 🥺👌

34 here :') , waiting till this banc make a tour XDDDDD
I'm 33 now. My old band used to play with these guys a good bit. I thought it was the coolest thing to share the stage with them.
Literally my thoughts exactly before looking this up hahah
Not enough people understand how fucking heavy this band is. DEAD SERIOUS
I was a teenager when this shit hit the scene I’m 34 now. Time flys 🤘
Early 2000s. Limewire+TTEOTD=Ipod playlist.
Damn that nostalgia slaps. Along with the Damascus Intervention and Suffokate
R.I.P. to my computer from Limewire downloads.😆😆
All tru
Stahp. You deserve some real 🥇 gold
Possibly the most iconic Deathcore song there is, and only 650K views?
This injustice will not stand!
Fucking 2006, holy shit. I was there ❤️ Nobody will admit it, but this was the peak of metalcore in a lot of ways.
I'm 27 now. I still love this band.
I'm 33 bro.. still down with this
37 and this still a goto.
I’m dead and this shit still slaps
I'm 30.
Still. That goddamn intro/outro takes me back to that same instinct, round house kicks and hammerfist through the crowd.
Goodtimes.🤙🤙🤙
28, still blare this shit with my daughter who is 4
Im 38 saw em live seventeen years ago and still one of my faves
What I wouldn’t give for an original line up playing this entire album.
Wish granted
This is what made me love metal
Daniel Crisp fuck ya
Remember watching this music video in high school on MTV2 Headbangers Ball! Still amazing
This band is ALL about the drummer. His double bass is up there in speed with Kollias and Roddy. Love that.
Bring back these days of metal, I miss them so much.
Until We Die sounds just like these TTEOTD and they were putting out music up until a couple years ago I'm pretty sure.
Bring back MySpace
Saw these guys in a TINY venue back in 2006. This original vocalist is still the best one they’ve ever had.

28 and I'm still listening to them. Heard these dudes when I was a freshman in HS. FKN MEMORIES!
Mid 2000s was my favorite period of metal.
It was experimental and pure....
This is the cleanest, heaviest and crispiest recording & band. They were way ahead of their time. What a great era this was to be a scene kid.
With Anthony Gunnels this is 1 of my fav bands, seen em live with Despised icon and Chimaira, Red cord and The end. Funny Anthony is wearing a Despised icon shirt.
The song that made me skip all metal bands straight into death metal.
Yup
This isn’t death metal , this shit sucks
I was introduced to this band 2 days ago, Ive listened to this song about 15 times since then. Really good song... AMAZING BAND
Do you still feel the same 14 years later?

So much tempo dynamic in this song. Love the ending. Such a good jam 16-17 years later.
TTEOTD - Bloodlust is up there with JFACs Doom EP as “true” deathcore as you can get!
Definitely
I like to throw All Shall Perish's Price of Existence album in there too.
In Dying arms self-titled and As Blood Runs Black - Allegiance too
@@JalimRabeikkkkk hell yeah that In Dying Arms is dope af, have you heard the re-recorded version?

I’m pretty sure it was always distortion. Sounds unique to them though.
Seeing “uploaded 16 years ago” has no business being this offensive.
Right?!?
i agree, he has great footwork. they are amazing live, i saw them on saturday
