I gave those Srarkey ones. They have the wires and domes as and are bluetooth. What kind of stethoscope will I need?

My audiologist referred me on to my hearing therapist , to determine which stethoscope to use with my Bluetooth hearing aids. I've learned a lot from your video, as to why the referral was made. Thanks !

Have you seen your therapist yet and made a decision? I have Bluetooth hearing aids too and the Thinklabs looks appealing, but it sounds like you have to turn off and on your hearing aids every single time to link, which would be a no go for me. I think the Eko just has to pair once with your phone, which I always have on me, but I’m still looking into that to see if it’s true.

@@jaquevius yes, the hearing therapist liaised with the hearing aid makers and local rep. While my hearing aids do Bluetooth to most tech devices, unfortunately they are too small to pick up some frequencies from the stethoscope. Therefore, I'm needing a set of headphones to Bluetooth to the Thinklab stethoscope so that I can keep my hearing aids in place. It's a bit disappointing, but I'll figure out how to manage.

@@lovelearn5158 bummer. I just ordered the ThinkLab so I'll try it out. I thought about the headphones too, but probably looks a bit goofy. oh well

How can a medical professional or student with hearing loss get the stethoscope for his studies?

Can I pair Eko DUO or Core to my iPhone 13 to listen to heart sounds (dogs & cats) and then stream those heart sounds to my Jabra Pro20 hearing aids via my iPhone 13 (I already listen to phone calls using my Jabra hearing aids)?

I believe the Jabra Pro 20 hearing aids have Bluetooth LE, so you should be able to pair the stethoscopes through the iPhone to your hearing aids to hear bodily sounds and view the tracing on the Eko App.

Can I suggest that you get professional support from someone like a hearing therapist. Your audiologist might recommend someone.

Hi @slaere/1762, I would recommend talking to your audiologist because of the mixed hearing loss type. Many audiologists are not educated on stethoscopes but they are experts on hearing aids and can reach out to their colleagues to see if others are knowledgable about what stethoscope works best with your hearing aids and hearing loss type. Stethoscopes and hearing aids are still a learning curve for all of us. :)
