Where in Wisco? If in Milwaukee, I highly recommend (in no specific order): - Mazo's on S. 27th St. It's an old-school tiny diner-type spot directly across the street from MKE ICON Leon's Frozen Custard. They fresh grind their beef every morning, and it really comes through in the pure beefy flavor. But keep in mind they don't stay open late. - Sobelman's on W. 18th & St. Paul (2 mins west of downtown). A classic pub and grill spot. Great burgers (I recommend the Sobelman Burger WITH jalapenos), cheap beers/drinks and their Bloody Marys are pretty solid (some are flat-out ridiculous however, with entire burgers/chickens, etc atop them), and they stay open late. They get pretty busy, so plan on a bit of a wait if going for dinner, especially on weekends. - Elsa's On The Park N. 8th St & Jefferson St. (Downtown @ Cathedral Square Park). Definitely a nightlife spot. Great to bring a date to (no dress code, but you'd be out of place wearing shorts and a t-shirt). EXCELLENT bourbon/wine/spirits selection, they completely transform the art/decor every month or so, and has a great menu. I LOVE the Burger Au Poivre and the pork sandwich, the wings are outstanding as well. It is owned and operated by the same guy who owns Kopp's Custard (which you MUST go to, hands down the best frozen custard in the USA!!!). Sorry for the lengthy reply, but hope it proves helpful. Oh, and WELCOME TO WISCO! Get yourself a Brandy Old Fashioned and a Friday Fish Fry STAT! Keeper movin', der guy!
@@MrOuchiez Kopps' not only has the best custard in the country, their burgers have consistently logged a spot in the Top Fifty Best Burgers in America. Always worth the wait. 👍
Easy, it's an episode on cheeseburgers and at Pete's, where they essentially cook the burgers in water and onions (a delicious way to do it), they don't even offer cheese as an option.
A great burger with any add ons you can imagine can be totally destroyed by cooking it well done. To me that's a cardinal sin. It should be a screaming hot grill and the burger should be cooked rare or maybe creeping into medium rare. Anything else is unholy sacraledge. It should also be grilled on a charcoal grill not a gas grill or a flat surface. In Wisconsin it's paired with a great beer of your choice.
I love cheeseburgers but if anyone makes one with that crap American cheese, they don’t know cheese. I’m from Wisconsin and a lot of people don’t know cheese.
Wisconsin quietly and consistently has the best burgers and pizza, because of the meat and cheese. Very underrated for food quality imho.
That burger battle got me weak 💀
Looks so delicious!!! Get me to Wisconsin...soon!
I’m moving to Wisconsin this was helpful

An Oklahoma Onionburger with Wisconsin cheese from the creamery across the street is the best of both worlds. Route 66 meets County Road K.
My hometown favorite Cinders cheeseburger with cheddar cheese and fried onions, they use the best meat and buns. Appleton
Screw Crappleton! Not one good thing came outta that strip mall-laden dump.
Always Drink Wisconsably
I eat VERY well every time I go back to Wisconsin. Just a flavor you cant find here on the East Coast.
11:11 i love those fries big not like mcdonalds skinny fries
How do you do a Wisconsin burger episode without Pete's in Prairie du Chien?

I love a good cheese burger but not with fried egg on it🤢Wisconsin girl born and raised, still won’t eat it.
Same here. The egg makes a burger taste too much like an Egg McMuffin.

348 Loaded Lever you obviously don’t know burgers if you think American cheese doesn’t belong on a cheeseburger.
@@s_i_m_o_ns_a_y_s5064 pretty sure they were referring to fake processed cheese slices.
A :56 second intro is way too long.
These maybe great burgers all, but someone doesn't know the definition of the word "unique".
