Started using DaVinci Resolve month ago, whenever I need something on "How to", I come to CZcams for tutorials, even for basic things, since then YT started showing me more and more DaVinci Resolve related vids which lead me to this! The production quality of your videos is damn great! Thomas here, a Greek photographer living in the Netherlands with my family. Just subscribed but I have seen several videos of yours in the past. Shot an interview a month ago with some borrowed gear(a personal project with no budget) and tried to find a solution on how to edit and make corrections to the footage. Unfortunately free version of Resolve cannot handle the job so I need Studio version in order to complete the task that might lead to a potential fundraising for the project. Thanks for your time and keep up the good work!!!
An old dude here, Coffin Doging, and have given serious thought to a drone, but then thought, can I justify the cost of it? Davinci Resolve, I bought the full licence the moment I hit the colour grading side I was trying to do and then it mentioned I needed the Studio version, I paid the money without any hesitation as this software for the money and support is exceptional! Now, as for your channel and the stuff you release... it really had me scratching my head at times thinking, dam that's easy, how come I could not figure it out, along with your relaxed and easygoing style makes for a viewing experience that's really great! LOng may you continue to do the CZcams Davinci stuff, its really appreciated, more so from us older guys out there!

Hey Joris, best regards from Germany. I'm 18 years old and still relatively new to this photography cosmos. I've been thinking about buying a decent drone for years, but I don't have enough money. I'm also trying to get to know Davinci Resolve better. But only with the free version. I take photos with my sister's Canon EOS 2000D and a Sigma lens from my grandad. I usually film with my mobile phone because the camera isn't really made for filming and I get much better results with my mobile phone.
I haven't been following you that long, but I've already seen some of your tutorials after watching some of your shorts. I think you can summarise things really well and concisely and it's clear that you really know your stuff.
I would be happy to receive all sorts of things because my equipment isn't that diverse yet. However, I would be most excited about the drone.

While i can't subscribe because it is not there but have shown my support with a like. As a student on the cusp of venturing into freelancing, the cost of a license is a significant investment for me-comparable to the price of my PC. It’s a steep hurdle that stands between me and my aspirations.
I believe contests like these could be even more impactful if they were skill-based, allowing participants like myself to earn a license through demonstrated ability rather than chance. Although luck hasn’t always been on my side, I’m eager for the opportunity to showcase my skills. I started using DaVinci resolve about 5 years ago because I could no longer get a copy of Microsoft movie Maker plus to make slideshows.
I found myself going deep down a rabbit hole learning about the details of lighting, special effects, storyboarding, editing, and camera mechanics, and is a subscriber you've been part of that.
You were right, I didn't need the gimbal. A good tripod is really where the the keys are at.

I love drones too but never used a professional one like the mavic air 2. I wish to take videos and photos of some scenerys of the place where i live and the places which are close to me. I will use the drone for taking the pics of the jungle and the beautiful waterfalls which are not that popular. I want to learn editing in a good, professional video editing software for actually adding it to my skill set but as you know, Indian parents dont buy online softwares as they say, why do you want to waste money on a digital software 😅.
I might just take vids of South India and the beautiful places which are not known to the public.

I love your videos. This one in particular because is great to do a little spring cleaning to get rid of thing you no longer need. I personally love shooting video, but my favorite thing to do is edit. Nothing better than putting the puzzle together from tons of footage and seeing the faces and comments when done.

I'm currently studying audiovisual production, but I rarely use a camera. I love post-production and editing. Ultimately, I want to become an editor of video game trailers. Hello Joris.. My name is Greg and I make live videos of bands. I do this mainly as a stress relief as a special needs parent. I started with concert photography and then moved on to video. DaVinci has been such an easy transition to use from Premiere Pro. Thank you for your tutorials and the time you put into everything.

Hi, my name is Richard Arsenault, I’m 35 and I’m from Prince Edward Island, Canada. I started filmmaking last fall doing weddings for free and booked my first 3 paid weddings this year as I accumulate some gear. Last major things I want to get is a drone and gimbal for my fx30 and lastly, a tripod. I’m actually shooting my first wedding with my fx30 this Saturday as a gift my fiancé’s cousin and i’ll be borrowing my brother in law’s drone for the first time.

As a bird I can actually fly so I don't need any drone. The thing I really need is the DaVinci Studio licence. While editing my travel vlogs I found out that some important features are missing in the free version. Feed me good man and no bird will ever shit on you again, trust me 🪿

I am Jonas Denys and I am also from Belgium. I am only 15 years old. I just started my journey as a videographer, I make videos with my DJI action 3 and my iphone X. I am still learning the Davinci Resolve free version. I don't have the money to buy a drone myself but I now how beneficial it can be to tell a story and create awesome B-roll. I found this video on my CZcams home screen and from the beginning of the video you where so energetic that is not easy at all, that makes you stand out. Continue like this! Hey Joris! I am a solo creator/videographer just got into wedding videography recently in Australia. I use Davinci Resolve since almost 2 years now and absolutely love it. Though many things can be done even if you don't own the studio version but it's just much more convenient and less time consuming. I always wanted to try the studio version and apply effects that are only available in it. Appreciate your Davinci videos and keep going with the good content! :) Cheers from Australia
