World's First STREET with AIRCONDITIONING and a Full Tour of KATARA Cultural Village

- This whole street has Airconditioning. It is the Katara Plaza in Katara Cultural Village in Qatar, the Middle East. We check out the Airconditioned street and then tour all of Katara Cultural Village.
In Katara Plaza, apart from the outdoor Air Conditioning, you will also find Galleries Lafayette, the famous department store chain from France.
We then head out of Katara Plaza to admire the Children's mall, a huge building in the shape of a big Gift. From there we pass by Al Gannas, the Qatar Hunting Association.
Along the way we pass Tasty Street, the soon to open Street Food areas within Katara Cultural Village.
Of course there is a lot of information on the Beach of Katara Cultural Village. Showing you the white beach sand as well as the rules and entrance fees of the Katara Beach.
We find lots of different restaurants and cafe's along the way, such as Le Vesuvio, Sukar Pasha, Chac'Late, BOHO Social, La Gelateria Fina, Dutch Poffertjes and Usha Frshka.
Of course we check out the Amphitheater, maybe the most impressive feature of all of Katara Cultural Village.
Then we pass by the Golden Mosque, the main Katara Mosque, the Pigeon Towers and the beautiful parks called Katara Hills. And Katara Hill North even boasts a beautiful fresh water stream running down the gentle slopes.

Katara I saw 🙂 in 2019 where I was staying in Doha I was went to Katara 3 times. It's really great also if you go there in the time of the Qatar National Day. There will be a show in the theater, fireworks and a drone show. But you have to look on which day the shows will be. And I don't know for this year it will happens again or not cause zhe covid 19 virus 😕 I love this area in Doha and so much other places there too 🙂

A lot has changed since I left Qatar. Worked and lived there for 8 years and I’d say it’s one of the cleanest countries I’ve been to next to Singapore. The only downside is the scorching summer months.

Oooh let's try to remember, I was there on friday morning from 9:30 till 12:30 pretty much. And from 12:30 is when people start to come in.. Yes they are such nice areas to walk around!

Hi Atif! There are some things cheaper in Qatar, but overall, it's still more expensive than Netherlands, yes!
We're going have a few days stopover in Qatar on the first week of October. How hot is it in the morning? Can women wear short sleeve shirts and capri pants?
Hi! In the mornings in October it's normally somewhere between 25 and 30'c, but still warms up fast! Yes both of those clothings is no problem, they appreciate having shoulders and knees covered. Enjoy your trip!
