was looking for a comment about that. Yes ding is the most impressive of all, he doesn't move at all during the shot, he's almost a robot at this point that's asian discipline and precision right there, that's why he's up there with my favorite players!

no, there is no contact between the table and the cue. to have a massive screw, the cue tip should be given much chalk and when it hits the white ball so hard all of the chalk spreads that's it

can a snooker connoisseur explain how in the hell these players can draw 12 feet? is it due to the extremely tiny cue tip diameter? Is the cloth different? wow that is unreal shooting.
1) Strachan tournaments when new is more grippy, hence more responsive to spin;
2) Well-chalked cue tip ensures best possible grip on the ball; and
3) Straight cueing that skewers through, or cues dead straight “through” the cue ball is by far the biggest difference maker
I used to practice pool on a converted snooker table, you can get the same action but it takes more power as the balls are much heavier and i would venture to say a much longer stroke (was not watching stroke distance in the video)
