I love how this incorporates elements of Beatdown and makes it sound all epic and godly I swear every Beatdown mix is good I've never heard a bad version of it. it's like you cant go wrong.

The melodies for the both are kinda synonomous for striders
I feel like this would be the PERFECT song to play during the Endgame flash. Clock relates to time obviously and Lord English is the Time player who the good guys are trying to stop, and the song itself is pretty dramatic and cool :0
I feel like the song relates more to Dirk and Dave, as parts of Beatdown and Atomyk Ebonpyre are thrown in there.
Or when Aradia did that thing in s wake.
This sort of is now a double edged sword for me because of endgame.
This song actually syncs really well with the Oppa Toby Style segment of Collide. I'm wondering if they were originally going to use it for that segment.

God, this whole album was full of surprises, especially Clockstopper. Upward Movement at the end had me hooked.
I can just imagine this as a fight between the alpha timeline, Pre-Scratch Bro Strider and the doomed timeline, pre-Scratch Dave Strider. The first portion of the fight, represented through Beatdown, is the regular strife. The second, represented through Atomyk Ebonpyre, is when Dave starts utilizing his abilities as a Knight of Time, gaining the upper hand against his Bro. The final portion, represented through Upward Movement, is when Dave is finally victorious against his Bro.
I like to imagine this as a Strife battle between Dave and Dirk. Not a battle out of anger, but one of their all-too-incredible sparring battles.
Dave has always been one of my favorite characters. He's been through a lot and had to put up with so many things (Bro's abuse, etc.). In fact, unlike some of his companions, he flourished when put into the game instead of broke.
I hear Beatdown and Atomyk Ebonpyre... I think there's one more...

+Seelpit the Official Descend itself is a mix of leitmotifs. It's not very accurate to say that it is a leitmotif since so many others go into it.

Dave is really cool (one of my favorite characters), but I seriously can't remember him winning a single fight he got into. There were those times when Doomed Dave/Davesprite killed some imps, but Dave has died a lot of times. He got killed by Diamonds Droog, Bec Noir (twice), PM (prototyped), and Lord English. And let's not forget when Dave got beatdown by Bro and the C-Man! geez Dave, c'mon man.
He took out DD, at least, albeit offscreen. And there are plenty of images from his pesterlogs slicing up underlings.

Dies so many times is simply because there are/were so many Daves. He time travels a lot, and more often than not, that always ends up with a doomed Dave.

About the god tier thingy i kind of agree with you... There could be at least a piece of animation, not even that long, of they going god tier. I mean, when you think about it, the Beta kids were actually pretty fast on going God Tier, since everything until Cascade technically occured on John's birthday, when the Alpha Kids took about 5-6 months to Ascend.
