I really enjoyed this video of Nikko. He is, indeed, someone who never should have been released from prison. The only good thing he probably ever did was to plead no contest and received the death penalty like he wanted. I'll never understand how a woman could fall in love with someone on death row, or even someone in prison for life. I hope her family has asked her to seek mental health evaluations, but I highly doubt that happened.

Abused in every way from 4 - 17yrs old.

I was an angry person up until 31.

I cheated on her with her sister an other women an put here through hell while she was carrying out child. Then after the baby was born we went back to partying an it got really bad. Despite what Nikko Jenkins did, his parents birthed him into a dangerous and volatile situation where the violence and poverty he was exposed to left him with the understanding that relationships between people consisted of a predator and prey. Thus, he came to the belief that the only way he could ensure he could never be victimised again or made to go without resources was by becoming the most ruthless and aggressive predator that hurts others before he can be hurt and takes from others before they can take from him.

While Canada keeps most major laws and their respective punishments consistent across the country, America has different laws state by state and literally there’s no “max/min” regulations for most crimes that must be followed - so, you get a judge on the prison’s payroll… you’re going to see it in the number of convictions.

Our system is for punishment only. Most people come out learning how to be a better criminal with more connections. How does that serve and or protect our citizens? Having a for profit system only adds to the problem. No changes will take place because there's no insensitive. The more people incarcerated the more the private prison system profits.

They also can’t afford to get their tubes tied out of pocket. Condoms cost money, and a lot of men just won’t wear one, let alone pay for them.
And poor women are a lot more likely statistically to turn to stripping or sex work because that’s the only job that pays enough to support herself and her kids without going on welfare, since the broke father(s) are probably paying as little child support as they can get away with.

He was repeatedly traumstized and has been repeatedly failed at every turn. And I get that inmates in prison have to be kept safe from other dangerous inmates, but it's unacceptable and disgusting to keep someone in solitary confinement for a lengthy amount of time, especially in the conditions that our prison system allows. There's absolutely no question at this point about what it does to people. We know it effs them up. And to take someone like nikko, who was in desperate need of intervention, care, and rehabilitation efforts, and deprive him of those things but instead putting him in total solitude for so long....as far as I'm concerned, everything that followed after his release is just as much on the shoulders of the people in charge at the prison as it is on him. There should be something we could do to keep the prison/system accountable for letting dangerous people like him out. Listening to the way that was done is absolutely insane. Who was in charge? He had been in Solitary confinement all that time and gets let out to prey on the public? Can't tell me they didn't know how dangerous he was. I bet the guards were shaking their heads when they heard that! Sometimes i think they get sick of dealing with these people and really don't care as long as they don't have to put up with them. That woman is attention seeker...i bet she'd hide if he got out. Really she needs help!

How about we start holding these absolute deadbeat parents accountable instead? Killers aren't born, they're created via abuse, neglect and mistreatment by the ones who were too irresponsible to have children and undeserving of the privilege of parenthood.
Despite what Nikko Jenkins did, his parents birthed him into a dangerous and volatile situation where he was brought up with the understanding that the only way he could ensure he could never be victimised again was by becoming the most ruthless and aggressive predator that hurts others before he can be hurt. All they had to do was take responsibility for their child and they failed him at every opportunity.
