    Very good video. The kind of I was looking for. By the way my 2 hibiscus plants did not make it as I used the wrong mix (if you remember my comments in last video). Anyway. I have some specific questions on this video if you are willing to suggest/help - A) I have 1 feet - 2.5 feet healthy plants of mix flower varieties (hibiscus, chrysanthemum,hydrangea,pentus,ixora etc) in pots. B) Pots that have soil and soil mix (I do not know what mix is there in soil). C) I want to transplant/move all of them to soil less/soilfree mix pots (soil mix #4 from your video). Questions - 1) Can I Take out the A plants from B - and take all soil out - including that of the root using water? 2) Can I transplant each of the plants from B to C ((soil mix #4 from your video))? 3) OR - Should I leave the soil of the rootball instead of taking the soil out completely? 4) Should I immediately water the pot after transplant? ... Your specific suggestion/guidance to my exact scenario would be much appreciated.

    • @CITYGARDENING
      @CITYGARDENING  Před 4 lety +1

      Shifting an already established plant from one media to other is possible even by exposing the root ball completely as you want. But, that requires a lot of patience and expertise. It is not recommended for novices. However,you can do the same without any risk by removing only 50 to 75 percent soil from the rootball and then transplanting the same in a soilless media. Watering immediately is not always necessary if rootball is intact.
