This doesn't work if you say butter with a British accent. Excellent video though. Big fan.
Buh-eh
You're right. Doesn't work
I don't think it works with a southern accent either
Doesn't work with my Irish accent dammit. "Better" works
@@infiel20 Doesn’t really work with my Indian accent either, you’re not alone 😂
😅😅
Dude!!! It’s taken me years to do what you taught me in a few minutes! I could cry! Thank you!!!🙏
that's simple enough but rolled r is something else
I got no problem with R's Sounds. In my native language (Indonesian) I get used to roll the R's a lot 😁 it's like basic ability for me 😅
Oh cool!
Sameeeee we have the nationality
The way my jaw dropped when this worked MUCHO GRACIAS
Glad it helped!
It works perfect 😃
Thank youuuuuu !
🙏
Perfect. That's it!
thank you. All my life.....
thats amazing!!
Great tip!
Ah i did it!!
😁
Ok! Now you say "El peRRo que ladRa Rompió mi peRiódico"😂
This works the other way around: in Spanish to say "city" we just pronounce the T like an Spanish R. Ciry
Great!
Thank you! I'm rolling my R's! gracias!
I struggle pronouncing any words with str, like nuestro. Could you make a video on how to pronounce it?
Ha! Awesome!
Thanks! 😁
My family is forgeting to speak spanish 😠 i will show them your video ❤️
Pero is not Perro.
Lol u don't know spanish Pero with one r means but and perro with 2 r means dog
I would really appreciate if someone could help me I have recently started trying to roll my r and easily I have made a noice that sound sort of like tr-ya and slightly rolled but I can only do it once and it feels forced do u have any suggestions on how to extent the length and make it sound more natural almost like a purr instead
Jokes on you, I can't pronounce words with the flap t!
Wtf I'm struggling bro my mom ask even if I'm OK Bru danm😢
so basically we complicate it relax
allí hay un carro caro
Yeah, but what if i cant pronounce a simple r?
This only works if you have an American accent…
Im british.
I can’t roll my R’s I can only say the hard R
I cant roll my r's
I' m spanish and I don't think you get to pronounce our "rr". You say pero, not perro
That handsome teacher gives some tips to pronounce "spanish r" not "rr"
Pero el está enseñando la palabra pero no perro 🐕, aunque al final se haya equivocado escribiendo una cosa por otra. Si te fijas en un momento del short pone b-u-t, a los de habla inglesa les cuesta la R y RR 😂😂😂
Exactly, you're right😊
Tengo amigos británicos y hemos intentado algunas veces de que puedan aprender a pronunciar este sonido de la doble RR pero les cuesta mucho, por más que quieran no les sale. 😊 o si sale hay que practicarlo mucho, fácil no es.
A final nos echamos unas risas 😅😅
incluso a este profesor del video le he escuchado en algún otro video distinto pronunciar
Doble RR donde no toca
Como Restau-r-ante
[ primera R sonido doble bien, segunda R sonido fuerte doble RR tambien ]
Como: < Restaurrante > y ahí no toca sino una suave
Y una R suave donde si toca pronunciar sonido fuerte cómo por ejemplo
Costa R-ica [pronunciaba sonido suave R] en Rica. Lo demás todo perfecto 👌
Entiendo que para un no nativo puede ser difícil y complicado saber donde y que palabras llevan sonido fuerte doble RR o suave una R.
😅😅😅 y la gente piensa que el inglés es difícil
More vids like “ take the air out of a P”
Mate I ain't getting no r, I'm getting buttə
Still doesn’t sound right 😅😅😅 keep practicing
But you have to write as 《pero》, not 《perro》 🐕, with double R it means dog, and the pronunciation is different. 😅
Of corse!
In spanish if the R goes at the beginning or at the end of the word the sound is double or rather strong.
if it goes intermediate it is usually smooth but there are some exceptions.
if it goes to the beginning it is strong sound
examples like: [Costa] Rica, [Puerto]Rico, even in Puerto is strong sound too,
[masculine names like] Ricardo, Roberto [the 2 R are strong sound in both names], Ramon,
verbs like: Reir [the 2 R are strong sound] too , Remar even this one. etc
if it goes to the middle it is soft with exceptions
Example: this word is curious because there are the 2 R strong and soft 《Ropero》meaning [Wardrobe]
strong and soft, 《Armario》 meaning the same [Wardrobe] in this the first is strong the second is soft.
《Argelia》[Algeria] the same has loud sound in Spanish
female name: Pilar the R sound is strong, like many Spanish verbs ending in ar or things like 《Arma》 [weapon]
I know that for Spanish students this can be quite confusing, thinking all the time, where do I have to pronounce a strong R and where do I have to pronounce a soft sound. but I think it is a good guide to understand how this sound works in this language. I hope this helps you a lot to understand better 👍 🙏 🙌 🙂
It's the double r i can't do 😢
Keep practicing!
@TheLanguageTutor been trying for decades 😞
Tengo *un problemo cuando i roll my r’s. I had a l to the end of it. I don’t know how to stop it. For example perro. I say “perrlo”
@@josueeuceda5357 Muchas gracias!! Yo entiendo todo!! I hope your classes in English are going very well!!
Tengo un problema, problema is masculine
@@alejandrojoselizano yes , you are right.
problem= masculine
Thank you guys for correcting me!!
Excuse me but "butter" and "pero" are not the same sound of the letter "r". The place of the tongue is not the same 😮.
It is the exact same sound 👍
@@dannyjorde2677 haha entonces eres sordo😅😅🤣
Blud, no way people struggle with doing that sound
mispronouncing butter? it's got two Ts not two Ds
