Idk who's complaining about your vids but they really need to stop. Im Usually waiting all week for your videos I absolutely love your content my only honest complaint is they aren't long enough. Im never bored tbh I wish we could get more content. Please Keep up the Great work.

One of my favourite things on your channel is the many stops you make, and how exciting, beautiful and full of content they are. I would like to encourage you not to shorten them, because I am sure there are many other viewers that feel the same way. Also, i see that you have asked this question in quite a few of your videos, and I just wanted to ensure you that they are absolutely amazing as they are!!;) Keep up the brilliant work dude!
Agreed. Unfortunately, the nature of the internet is that the proportion of miserable people who complain is far greater than their actual number when compared to the rest. People are more likely to express complaints in writing! Whereas the majority of people, who like any particular content, just roll on satisfied, and feel no need to comment.

To echo others, ignore the negative comments. Video length, content, details, all tick the box for me and why I follow and subscribe. Very informative, beautiful scenery, relaxed pace, perfect.
Leaves me with just one thought watching this, which is why the F am I not already at that villa at the end, booked in for several months, chilling and taking life at a far more relaxed pace.

Watching this was a deja vu moment for me. I stayed on Koh Phangan for just over a week a few years back and discovered the beautiful village on one of my ride around outings. I came back often during my stay to have lunch and just chill out. I could quite easily live there. Thank you once again for showing us around. I really like your vids. You have a laid back style that's not overly shouty or excitable like many other Thailand vloggers are. You just ride around and show us the sights in an understated way. I reckon you're the sort of bloke I could enjoy a beer or two with. Take that as a compliment from a relatively introverted person who likes his own company.
I'd love to see a cost of living video from you. It seems like you're living the sort of lifestyle I'd like to live on that island. Chilling, doing a bit of work, exploring and eating at local places. Perfect.

Sorry but I disagree with the people that say the vids are too long. I love everything you have presented. The videos could be an hour long and I would still be happy. Due to your videos I have now bought three holiday condos in Thailand and will probably buy more. Your vids have given me a road map for places where I will visit when I retire in Thailand soon. I for one appreciate all your effort to bring these wonderful glimpses of Thailand to us. Cheers!!!

@@SideTripLife I want to tell you how important you efforts are to your viewers. Being completely honest, until I discovered STL and now spend my free time watching all your wonderful videos, my impression of Thailand was VERY different. All I had seen plastered across CZcams was Phuket, in particular Bangla Road with all the Bar Girls and Freelancers. My impression of Thailand was of a hot, humid, stick third world country with no decent facilities and the biggest money earner being the sex industry. All I ever saw were poor people and street hustlers. Wow was I so wrong. Yes in small pockets this is true but your videos have opened up an ENTIRELY different side of Thailand that I never knew about. I have honestly used your guidance to create a road map for my own retirement. I honestly hope that our paths will cross and we meet on some tropical beach having a few wobbly pops and watching the majestic sunset. The difference for myself is that with my current income and savings I would have an average, at best, life in Australia and be counting every penny. In Thailand I will be able to live life like a KING. Cheers!!!

Thanks for sharing! I have been to many places all over Thailand the last 10+ years now. But never south of Hua Hin. So what someone complain about too much content, I look as lots of good and useful information about a place I have had on the radar for many years, but never been to. So just keep up the good job creating lots of informative content! That's why I subscribe and watch your videos in the first place.
Cafe mocca is probably the best Italian on the island the owner and his family are old school long time ex pats. Absolutely 100% worth visiting . The fresh made pizza with a sunset view are what it's all about. Twisted fix just down the road is a brilliant bar run by a Dutch couple who have been on the island for decades and run pool competitions and have a fantastic changing menu for those craving Western specials you can't get anywhere else. Hunch the owner decides on a whim once or twice a week to use his epic home made smoker to make the most unbelievable smoked meats for their menu.... defo a hidden gem. Chaloklum is full.of them..... currently closed but worth knowing about for when things relax is coral Bay bungalows. 5 mins drive from the village and possibly the best/quiet snorkeling beaches on the island, just on the way to bottle beach. Thanks for the video.... urrgghh I miss chaloklum so much

My favorite part of the island away from the tri bays and by far the most original community on phangan. Love chaloklum. Always worth having this as your base when you stay

more than 10 years ago I walked from Thongsala to Chaloklum with my bagpack, checking the beaches I wanted to stay. Count 3 to 4 hours walk ( quite steepy at the end ), but it worth it, Chaloklum is a gem, indeed. It's a fishing village, so it has some local life. Won't do the walk again, though.
Yeah it’s by far one of my favorite parts of the island. I was there for lunch and chilling today. I tend to go there at least once a week. The new night market on the pier is awesome too.
Videos from my favorit place in the world can never bee too long ! This concept works perfect for us who like it . The other ones can watch someone else . And if You like this you can also watch Mickey in Hungry Adventures or Paddy Doyle . Mai Pen Lai !

I disagree with those negative comments. I love your eye for beauty and your content is interesting to me. You cover everything from small eateries to bars, restaurants, hotels of every budget. You take the time to show us these interesting places. I love and I bet 99% do, so just ignore negative comments. Love your voice too BTW, very calming.

Please don't pander to the naysayers STL. Again an absolutely beautiful video I remember being in Chaloklum when we island hopped years ago and it's lovely as ever but this video was just too short. As some other commenters have pointed out these videos represent highlights of our daily lives we love seeing the notification of a new video.

Wow - when we were there at this time of year five years ago the bay was packed with large fishing vessels. I love that little town. We made the hike from Bottle Beach up over the mountain into Chaloklum. It was hot but beautiful.

I actually moved to Chaloklum from my old favorite Seethanu Bungalows and love the place. So I booked a bungalow for 3 months while I come and go during my construction. It has a lovely village vibe and you get to know the expats fast and as you saw a great choice of restaurants and even has bars to have a drink and chat. So I will be basing myself there even though have a home in SriThanu its way nicer. The PepperCorn is our go to place for a special night out costly but worth it and chef Fredi is great fun. Will have to try High life it always seems to be busy so we nervy stop. Thanks again for the enjoyment.

Oh my gosh. Your videos are perfect. The people who are complaining probably like the kind that have music and are overly cut and messed with. You get no authenticity with those kind of videos. They are flashy I guess, but lack substance and don't put you IN the video. I guess they are good for people with zero attention span, although your videos are the only ones I've seen lately that I'm watching all the way through.
I shouldn't watch them just makes me miss Thailand even more 😢.

Thank you. Actually I have appeared albeit briefly in some but from the outset my vids have been about the places I visit and what's in front of the camera, not about me. I'm not a fame seeker either, ie I was at a pharmacy and beside me at the counter was a well known youtuber who I now I know more about than I cared to. I also previously ran a fairly popular online site for some time where I was public initially but dealing with some odd characters and worse made me reconsider. Anyways, my POV style vids.won't be everyone's cup o' tea and that's ok but I appreciate those like you who do watch for the content. Cheers

My advice is to ignore unjustified complaints. Constructive criticism is another story. Good intentions through suggestions always welcome & I believe you feel the same. Hi there. I'm planning to visit Koh Phangan soon and am thinking of staying on Thong nai pan noi. Was looking around at what 'busy' ish areas are nearby incase we want to do some exploring. Is it easy to get a songtheaw on the island? Thanks
Thong Nai Pan area has a decent amount of beach bars and eateries etc but if you want more then it's a Songthaew to Thong Sala etc. Can normally flag down a shared Songthaew plying along Haad Rin-Thong Sala and other popular routes. But up Thong Nai Pan way it's usually a pricier private ride as there are fewer around and longer distances. Best try to hook up with a few others to share the ride. Edit to add: Personally would split a stay into 2: Thong Nai Pan for a few days and pick another livelier location for a few days (eliminates travelling to-from for 'lively' nights out if staying just at TNP etc).
